Right. The entire point of an LLC is the limited liability. It's not taxes or anything, because those pass through to the owner(s) just as in the case of an unregistered sole proprietorship.An LLC that goes inactive can still sort of do business, but the difference there is that it has no legal standing at all if you get sued. There's no limitation of liability any more. Not that he had it before.
