Dunno if anyone remembers the Linus Tech Tips tranny (aka "tech shrek"), Anthony Young, who now goes by Emily Young. But he has updated on his life/transition since his last explosive post. Per this post on the LTT thread:
He now has broken out of Linus Media Group and has his own Patreon with the first tier being "tech tipper" (harhar). To his credit, he did lose a good amount of weight (110lbs by his own admission) but he still looks like a pretty blobby male nerd. He is, and probably always will be, one of the most boring people at that company, so not going to get into the video. It was more interesting to read the comments on the reddit thread about this video posted to the Linus Tech Tips subreddit.

Anthony was not particularly popular, but it's funny to see people who clearly are confused (or just snarky) about this dude who really offered very little in the first place beyond being a potential HR issue.
In response to this last comment, yes, there is a current woman on staff named Emily (Seddon). LMG, and most tech companies, have very few actual women so it is a weird """coincidence""" that Anthony has chosen that name, of all names.
And then the most surprising category, unfathomably based:

Male-dominated forums/spaces tend to be more vocally anti-troon, and are generally allowed to be in the first place, but it is still interesting to see this shift on reddit from trannies being hecking valid uwu to actual criticism. I don't know if it's because of the recent EOs, more people peaking from increased exposure, or the LTT subreddit/reddit in general skewing young, but it is still nice to see.

I find that fascinating because for decades the Palestine movement worldwide was the creepiest and dumbest show in town, then in the last decade troons sorta stole the crowd and now there is a sort of merger attempt that can't conceivably end well.

It's funny because in my younger days I was active in a particular protest scene (not gay nor Middle East-related shit, won't PL further) and I swear to god the Free Palestine weirdos would show up to every protest. Protesting to end the war in Iraq? WHAT ABOUT PALESTINE?? Against bailing out the banks when they crash the economy and flounce off with bags of cash? FREE PALESTINE! And they were always super disruptive, often causing the peaceful and chill rally to be dispersed before things took a violent turn.
I always wondered how many of them were glowies/glowies adjacent because it was like CIA handbook interference every time. Turns out they were just annoying and quite lazy to co-opt rallies for other causes rather than organizing their own.
Every single rally would get infested with them. Them and the Free Mumia people. So it's actually hilarious to me that their loud and annoying movement got colonized and hijacked by the loudest and most annoying contingent of all, fucking troons and "queers."
I enjoy the YT creators that interview gays, troons, and handmaidens on the street asking if they support Palestine and then have to inform the interviewees that Palestinians would happily stone them to death and punt their battered corpses off the nearest roof.

Firstly: When they were talking about the correlation between intelligence and trannys, they weren't talking about the majority of modern trannys who are just narcissistic men with a fetish.
Secondly: These two studies are connected but SO different.
The first, Gender Dysphoria and Transgender Identity Is Associated with Physiological and Psychological Masculinization: A Theoretical Integration of Findings, Supported by Systematic Reviews, By Edward Dutton and Guy Madison, Sexuality Research and Social Policy, 2021] is a very interesting and well thought out study, the conclusions make sense with the data, and if you follow the citations, the studies that it's based on are robust and sensible.
This one however, “Masculine” Describes Gender Expressions, Not Neurobiologies: Response to Dutton and Madison (2020),” By Reubs Walsh, Sex Research and Social Policy, 2021]. is the author throwing a poopy-pants tantrum because he don't like the conclusions and definitely don't like the implications.
Except, if you follow his citations, youre gonna find the kind of junk science that is condemned on this site daily.

There are a few movements within the progressive community that aren't remotely progressive. Things like transgenderism (gendered identities is clearly a sexist and superstitious concept), alternative medicine (anti-science vodou), and pro-Palestine and other Arab/Muslim nationalist shit (nationalism is already on shaky ground in the left, so why are they embracing an especially racist and theocratic version of it?). But they're so goddamn backward that US conservatives reject them, which in turn causes a reactionary acceptance of them on the left.
Ironically, the left ends up nurturing these reactionary movements for decades, aggressively and even violently shutting down any dissent from within the left... until the left's cultural power ends up causing these ideas that were once too backwards for even conservatives to gain enough mainstream power that the rightwing makes space for them. And then, as we've seen with alternative medicine over the last few years, it ends up throwing in with the conservatives against the left. Will the left ever learn? Would it be the left if it did?
