I missed it because his name wasn't on the title but if you wanted to know what's up with him lately, here's CavemanDCJ (he just calls himself Caveman) at GDQ 2025. He was also present last year I think playing Evil Zone a fighting game.

He seems a bit chubbier than the Tombi days or maybe it's just the clothes/camera angle.
He's absolutely gotten fat, but sitting around and slamming junk food down your throat 14 hours a day will do that to you.

This is more time than I've ever spent thinking about Donkey Kong. Why would you play this much DK64, the worst game of the franchise?
Because Chibi is utterly devoid of any kind of individuality
The N64 is the autism speedrunning magnet machine. Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Goldeneye etc. All the "childhood classics" that are ran by lots of people come from it. So when Chibi wants to latch on to a DK game he can't help but gravitate to the N64. And since he just refuses to play games like a normal person, he has to do some speedrunner randomizer BS and stream it. He'd actually be so much better off if he just played things he likes.

Chibi is so unbelievably fucking boring you couldn't pay me to scrub through these completely monotone, inane Nintendo 64 collectathon slop game streams he does. He's not good at them, he's not entertaining, he's not funny either intentionally or unintentionally, he's not even good at using streamer hardware. Half of his streams are with broken audio, broken video, etc.

I wish we had an AI tool that would scrub through all these 4-6 hour long Donkey Kong 64 streams to extract bits where he says anything of value

I'm genuinely astounded these VODs have 200+ views.
Look, Chibi is live right now and he has 7 live viewers almost 40 minutes in. What are these VOD views, dude? Speedrun enthusiasts, maybe?

Unless this is some kind of view botting thing, but that's pretty doubtful.
(One of the streams here has ~600 views, as opposed to the ~250 he got in all the rest. The hell's up with that?)

Probably a mix of farmers and /v/irgins?

I checked on Twitch earlier today and noticed that he was streaming to an audience of literally nobody. What an accomplished career streamer.

And yes it does say "resubscribe", I received a gift sub at some point years 2-3 ago. On low-popularity streamers it will direct gifts to accounts who aren't currently watching, but have clicked on one of their live streams at some point in the past, if there aren't enough live viewers when the gift is purchased.

That’s… depressing.

Checked in on the stream last night out of sheer morbid curiosity and it was just... bad. Discord call audio at the same volume level as the feed from his mic so he was constantly talking over other people whilst engaging with his own chat, and like a third of the screen on the left side was taken up by what looked like a constantly-updating text feed of a Banjo-Kazooie race even though Adam was playing A Hat In Time? The whole thing was a sensory nightmare with way too much going on and I was sick of it after five minutes. Genuinely do not understand how someone who has been doing this for such a long time can still suck at it so much on a basic technical level.

I don't even think it's that, he's never shown any interest in Donkey Kong. Literally, it wasn't until they added Donkey Kong to Nintendo World that he suddenly became a certified DK autist

Must be photoshoped or AI generated video since he trooned out he looks quite beautiful and very slim and sexy.

It’s all his Japanese friends who are busy working while he’s live

Nah, the full VOD is undoubtedly lost to time and I can’t even find the small clip that was originally part of various “speedrunner cringe compilation videos”, but there was a video of his mom interrupting him while speedrunning DK64 way back in the day. No I’m not mixing it up with the Paper Mario one, different video. His beard was at its longest and greasiest and his mom asked him something and he said “not now mom” in his typical 27-year-old-teenager snarky voice that he always used on her. Don’t remember much else about it, but hopefully that’s enough to trigger the memory. I obviously have no proof but I can promise I’m not gay enough to lie about something like this, but clearly I am autistic enough to remember it. Right in that sweet spot lol. I don’t think Chibi is a fake DK64 fan or DK fan in general, the same way I don’t think he’s not actually a fan of Pokemon or KH or Linkin Park, I just think he goes thru fads of reliking things he hasn’t talked about in years. Maybe it is spurred on by something topical like Chester Bennington dying or DK World being announced, I wouldn’t fault any normal person for having nostalgia triggers like that. The problem with Chibi is that he goes full retard about them and suddenly makes them his entire personality, and anybody who wasn’t around last time he brought it up years ago is reasonably left to assume he’s just latching since he seemingly goes 0-60 about it.

No doubt this is what gets the girls swiping right when they see his tinder profile saying he is a partnered twitch streamer
