I have a question for anyone with knowledge of the legal system. If you are judge issuing a judgement on a case would you tend to mirror the winning party's argument even if it is not the best to try and make your judgement as strong as possible or would you actually be as fair and neutral as possible and only say a particular argument of the winning party was right if it was actually true.

Usually in a well-briefed case, the winning party's arguments are at least generally correct. Sometimes the parties botch the case so thoroughly that the court is more or less forced to do its own work, though. Parties also often make backup arguments even if they try to lead with what they feel is their strongest, and the court doesn't always address them. Courts generally prefer to decide on narrow rather than broad grounds if the narrower justification disposes of the case.

It's still fairly rare for a trial court to decide a case based on issues raised by neither party, although appeals courts are often more willing to do this, especially state Supreme Courts and other courts of last resort. For a trial court especially to do this raises due process issues as the party being decided against never had an opportunity to brief an issue never raised by the other side.

Never heard of this retard but probably isn't as funny as Greer. It's a pretty weak argument to just try and say "someone else is a bigger retard than me you guyz". Lots of people are as dumb or retarded as lolcows on this site but never make their presence known. I'd the say one of the defining quality of a Lolcow is they have a lot on social media or youtube type site so people can actually follow their retarded antics.

If this guy has just sued Taylor Swift a bunch then that's not really interesting by itself. Pretty much all the legal documents I saw from a quick google search were just dismissals and I'm not sure if the guy has any twitter diatribes even to read.

Listening to it a bit, retard apparently tried to bring a RICO case against Taylor Swift among other things. Pretty sure all of his cases have been instantly dismissed. Got arrested for trespassing at Taylor Swift's house, said he was attempting to perform a citizen's arrest.

Also sued Disney World cause he said hot water droplets got on him
