I have a lot of sympathy with people whose mental map of their bodies is at variance with their biology, and that can really mess you up - I know a few transgendered folks, and it's not a fun existence. Not a surprise that some of them go off the rails a bit.

But there's a big difference between that and being a cross-dressing fetishist hiding behind the "protected" trans identity to evade criticism, or to scam sympathy, bed and board, money and whatever else from credulous dolts. The GBS thread that lasted a few hours had a bunch of people asking what was even going on due to the China level propaganda control the admins have going on, so no most people that only visit SA have had no experience with people like fire.
