I heard it said before that it's a bad idea to announce intentions to enact good change in your life because the announcement itself serves as a dopamine hit. This in turn can become addictive and ultimately counteract any progress toward the change. You get in the habit of just saying you will change because it brings you attention and makes you feel good, you might even convince yourself it's true sometimes...

I’m gonna go with some incident that involves both of these two things in one. He’s just starting to get back into streaming, and he’s still just as autistic and cringey as ever, so I imagine it’s only a matter of time before he embarrasses himself by saying something stupid. It will most likely be something fairly innocuous a la “Goomba lives matter” or calling someone faggot, but he’ll take to Facebook with some 12 paragraph essay about how sorry he is and how we’ll never see him again. No one will care and he’ll come crawling back in a month or so.

Let’s not forget that this exact situation has played out dozens of times with Chibi over the past 10+ years. Long before the Glorious Nippon trips, before the catfishes and the penis exposures to unsuspecting con pages, he was saying embarrassing shit on Twitch then melting down about it on social media. This is Chibi’s lolcow roots right here, and literally the only reason it hasn’t happened in the last few years is because he just hasn’t been live streaming.
