Honestly, as someone in a very liberal industry, I worry about someone seeing the Kiwifarms icon in my searched - thankfully I work at a job where I have a 'work laptop.' Still, it doesn't feel like a very liberal society where even searching this website would be grounds for GTFO'd despite my work.

LMAO also forgot how he screams 'Hong Kong' in his actions. Wish this chink was actually in China so we wouldn't have to deal with him.

On the chance this was real, all it would take is a basic opsec fail of viewing KF without a VPN while at work or on a work-issued device (VPN may not even matter on a company-owned device). Every image, every file, every page passing through their network, logged and retrieveable. Even perhaps just trying to view it, as companies could block KF at a firewall level and alert to the attempt. "Misuse of company property/time" and all that.

What I find funny about all of this is that LFG paid for someone to comb through hundreds of entries of a Kiwifarms account just to find any possible personal information. Hours upon hours of legal work, with possibly thousands in legal fees, for something that could have been done on his own time.

Elliot doesn't seem like the self-offing type--too narcissistic. I'll settle for a nice, gender-affirming bout of estrogen-induced autoimmune disease. The fact that he's already had it in his eyes (although it's now in remission) suggests he's already at higher risk for it. I'm getting a warm glowy feeling imagining him getting rheumatoid arthritis bad enough that he can't type or use a smartphone without agony. ☺️

Minor point of autism: Elliot is in fact an American. He's just a permanent resident of Australia (as far as is known; he hasn't mentioned obtaining citizenship, at any rate) after moving there with his Aussie troon spouse.

Idk about that. I'm mostly inclined to believe no dong other tech workers are identified. I suspect they're either 1. Not personal to LFJ or 2. Not quite as conclusive as to risk defamation or libel lawsuits.

On the other hand, idk how easy it would be to find the guy from those details, without having narrowed it down to a speaker list to begin with. The job timing narrowed that down to 2 so.. yeah. That's not a long list to home in on.

As others have said in the thread though I'm kinda shocked a lawyer is involved in calling someone a threat and getting them fired. Doxxing may not be illegal but that shit sounds actionable. Then again LFJ thinks the rules don't apply because let's be real, they don't. Nobody else gets to brag about doxxing on linked in. Very few people with such a miserable public rep pulls strings for the kind of IRL impacts that have happened here.

Perhaps that's Liz next tactic. Attempt to silence individual farmers until people get scared and quiet vs the farms itself. Actually that fits the MO prior to this perfectly.

Doesn’t Liz have a bunch of activist lawyers on speed dial that actually know how these Internet slap fights and mudslinging works?

Here’s hoping Kevin can get some way to exact revenge, but I have to wonder if this is one of those things where somebody realizes what they’re getting into. Because I think it’s been established some cows go after those who don’t know the ways of the Internet or Bloodsports or the Grift Wars and just hope their targets roll over and die.
