Posting shitty JPGs of impressionist and symbolist paintings is not going to heal the gender divide, dumbass. First off, get better taste in art and actually learn the meaning behind the artworks that you post (e.g. The Temptation of Sir Percival). I am not surprised though that you like the kitschiest symbolist paintings since you're a traditionalist retard.
 
The gender wars have been some of the most effective idpol ever conceived of and pushed. The bourgeoisie are so desperate to maintain control of the working class that they've been willing to absolutely destroy the relation between men and women.

The working class fights among itself and its powered is weakened as a result. If you partake in gender war idpol you are working against the best interests of yourself and your fellow people.

Mild counter argument: The more the gender war is being waged, the more susceptible its instigators and profiteers become to attention and reveals.
In a sense, instigating an unjust war carries the seed of the instigators' downfall.
 
An unpromising start to your own premise. Modern feminism is a toothless zombie. It’s more a marketing strategy for corporations and politicians than a cohesive social movement. Anyone seriously blaming it for their personal problems comes off as impotent, overly socialized on the internet, and from India. Societal cockblockers are pornography, addiction, economic constraints, environmental factors, and community erosion. Not “boss babe” and “nevertheless she persisted” laptop stickers. What neoliberal feminism does accomplish is encouraging women to dress up their loneliness, exhaustion, and anger as empowerment (especially if it empowers you to buy product and vote for candidate) and to consider a self-centered and status-oriented way of life to be a form of liberation in an increasingly inhabitable and unaffordable environment. It can be provocative and divisive, which makes it an ideal distraction, but it’s not the actual source of people’s loneliness, exhaustion, and anger.

Any talk about mens issues gets you banned from polite company and you get labeled as a mass murdering misogynist, feminism is absolutely not some toothless ideology that corporations use.

Speaking of which since you feel so strongly why don’t you share some paintings you feel best describe the feelings of romantic love between men and women?

Most of the people I know are very dull but nice marrieds who get along fine with their other halves. There’s no ranting about women being whores or men being incels. They just juggle life, jobs and kids and get on with it. My parents, and their parents, they just got on with life. Raised kids, worked, never even thought about this stuff.
Men and women are different, things work best when we complement each other and work to our strengths/make up for each others weaknesses.
Some men are awful. Some women are awful. Most are just fine. The gender war stuff is a very successful psyop to divide us.
 
I root for the death of Romanticism. The day mankind gets rid of such ailment will be a sign of true progress for humanity. Enough of longing for the overrated past, exaggerating the aspects of courtship and ignoring the innate differences among men and women.

Let the solitary ones be solitary, let the toxic ones wither alone, let couples dabble on with their emotions as it should be. The only ones who tout for romance and marriage are either crooked politicians who're afraid there'll be no more tax payers to leech off and fools who have no other purpose in life other than breed to keep spawning slaves to support the system because that's what they're good for.
 
This is gonna be long and rambly, I apologize. It isn't discounting this thread, just asking legit questions.

I'm still very confused about the massive meltdown the man hate thread caused. It's just one thread where we can gripe, why is that such a problem? They say something mean? Why are you reading it if you feel targeted? Hell, it's in the board specifically meant FOR women. Over half the site is free reign for dudes, but asking to behave is an issue?
Keep in mind, I don't go to the man hate thread. I personally find it too toxic and negative, but only a handful of people does it wver spill out. The woman hate threads though? It's obscene the amount of guys throwing a fit over it and I really don't get it.
I think a good first start to the unification is to address the differences. Not as negatives, just basic ass needs. Women handle problems by venting first, so we get all the enotions out of the way when we do deal with it. But men are act first, vent later. This can result in problems down the line with co workers, quality of projects, and even effect personal relationships.
I'm not saying either is better, because only venting can lead to a feedback loop where nothing gets done, but it's important to acknowledge these are just differences we can't force the other into changing.

A second one is it feels like women are voluntold to make a middle ground guys are happy with, when women never asked or wanted to be involved in the first place of... whatever. This is *why* feminism is a thing, we don't feel heard at all. Wouldn't you go crazy if any problem you brought up was just "hysteria" or "being on your man period"? I agree it's gone way too far, and a lot of women are just extremely hateful and vengeful.... but wouldn't you be? Especially when there are still countless dickheads telling you that you're basically only good for making babies and have no reason to work?

I think the closest example a guy gets is not being allowed to show mental suffering/emotion other than rage or happiness. That does suck, and I'm truly sorry at how badly it effects men, it isn't fair at all.
Still, in medical, academics, technical, etc settings, only men are taken seriously. You are listened to and respected in a lot of settings, only recently has that taken a drastic turn for white men. For most of history you were the top. This isn't me saying you deserve it, only that now you kinda are starting to get why being othered fuckin sucks.
K onto the positives. Personally, I do think we compliment one another very well. Women are excellent scouts for snipers in the military (women have a better horizon line view while men are single point focused) though not the best at being an actual sniper. Not terrible, just not amazing. I do find mens' bumbling when they're trying to impress a crush incredibly adorable, it reminds me of when my husband and I met for the first time. Women are the creativity for mens hard working nature, men are the stability for women during difficult times.
This is going to sound incredibly retarded but.... I really hope you Kiwis find your other half. I got incredibly lucky with mine. We're both broken people with baggage, but I could not envision anyone better. We've known each other 11 years, together for 5, and I still feel like I fall in love with him all over again every day. We've had maybe 3 serious fights in that entire time, and 2 of those were because we were mad at the other for either hurting ourselves or not taking care of ourselves.
Fuck, we both struggle to sleep if I go camping with just my dad and we're apart. I make it sound like we're teenagers but we're both almost 30!
