I have requested all the court documents and a transcript of the hearing (if one was held) from the clerk, and I should have them next week.

He didn't, Riley's scheduled for Trial next month.
Like I said Riley is not out of the woods yet....hell Dick even said Eric was forced to go to court to testify....that never happened because it was a state case

Court documents have been posted in the legal thread.
From a preliminary reading as a non-barrister, it looks like quibbling over vaguery in the charge elements and basic attmepts trying to undermine the charge.
The judge ruled very narrowly on the motion to quash and the trial is still set--hardly the huge win being portrayed.

Eric is not even part of this if I am not mistaken. Riley was not arrested for what he did to Eric, he was arrested for causing trouble. The fact he caused trouble to annoy Eric is irrelevant for this with the possible exception of using footage of him harassing Eric as proof that Riley is unhinged and a threat to the public.

Correct. A look at the court documents will tell a very different story than what Juju (the man who loves to get pegged in the arse while dressed as a cow) and Nick are trying to spin.
The fight is over whether Texas was specific enough in their charges and can support each element for the charge. The judge ruled to grant a fraction of their motion and we are moving on.
There was not even a hearing.

Yesterday on episode 440 Dick openly talks about "his daughter" and not "his baby", which means that he now knows the sex of the child.
Since he knows it so early, it most likely mean that he did an NIPT test to make sure the child is not a downie, which is the smart thing to do since Maria is 40 years old and ongoing a geriatric pregnancy. We can also conclude that he intended to kill the child if he or she was chromosomically enhanced ; no reason to pay for the test if you don't intend to act on it if it's positive.
For those that don't know, an NIPT test is an expensive test that can be done starting at the 9th week of pregnancy to look at the chromosomes of the child and verify that they look normal. Since it looks at the chromosomes you can of course determine if it's an XY or XX.
