Honestly, the husband is the best man I could have ever asked for in my life, and I’ve never been so grateful to have someone around, especially now as I’m third-trimestering along. We’ve known each other since we were teens, were best friends for years, and realised “fuck it, we love each other too much to let each other go”. Now we’re married with a hatchling on the way, he never complains about cooking for my picky ass, and is actually the main reason I’ve been comfortable trying new food, he’s always there for me with the best advice, and no matter what, we’ve stuck by each other’s side for the best part of roughly a decade. Through shit jobs, living with my sister, my health stuff and cancer scare, and a couple miscarriages to boot, he’s helped me stay strong through the worst days.
 
Finally came across something cute.



I have been looking for content for this thread since I made it and unfortunately not many men out there do nice things for other people worth posting about.

Today in "Men lauded for doing the bare minimum", Nigel did not need to be reminded to get presents for his family or his wife, and actually purchased gifts the receivers would like. American women truly have sky-high standards, I can't imagine how American men cope (jk, they jerk it to CP and plan trips to Thailand).
 
After a good Christmas I'm in a man-loving mood and have to admit that all of my favourite musicians are male and that most of my favourite artists, movie directors, and writers are male as well. I'm extremely white pilled on male friends; I have about a 40/60 split on my male/female friendships. They're nice, bring things to my life that I otherwise wouldn't have if I only had female friends.
 
My dad is incredible at wrapping gifts. The paper is immaculately creased, cut, and taped; the bows are precise; the labels are clear to read. Sometimes I pay him to wrap my gifts to other people.
 
Merry Christmas to all the good men and some of the ok ones who can turn themselves around. I'm happy to be with my cool family and my cool friends of both genders and laughing really hard with them. :heart-full:
 
One time I needed assistance and the firefighters came over. They were all fucking hot, it was unreal like a movie or something. And they smiled and joked. Firefighters>>>cops.

Yessss one time I called the fire boys because I found some ducklings in a storm drain. Three volunteers showed up in their coveralls to lift the grate, and they supported one while he dangled himself over the hole to grab the birds. They were so excited, it was genuinely endearing.

He started doing it after his own grandmother got scammed by one of them, I'm glad that he's able to make a living out of it.
 
That feeling when your husband repeatedly reminds you his career success wouldn't be possible without you.🥹❤️
 
My best friend always takes great care of me when I have arthritis flare ups that leave me unable to walk. He brings me hotpads, medicine, water, snacks, the works. My other guy best friend and his gf who is also my best friend, he always protects us when we got out to concerts n public events with too much crowd. He always holds our hands so we don't get lost in crowds, walks behind us both so he doesn't lose us, he's very good to the both of us, protective in that not disgusting or controlling way.

I have a few male bartender friends too that always watch over the ladies in the bar when people start acting weird toward them like hovering them or trying to touch them. The bar has one of those angel shot things you can order when issues come up too but it's not called an angel shot since people know what that is now.

I try to remember that not all men are horrid, but a lot of em are.
