I know a paraplegic who used to play on a wheelchair basketball team. He tells a story of almost getting in a fight with another player who was an amputee. Apparently his buddies were yelling "Don't do it, he's got one leg! He's got one leg!" Sadly, this was long before cameras were common.

Unironically yes, deaf people are psychotic wackos who want their kids to be deaf too so they can "pass on deaf culture". Imagine wanting your own child to never hear music or the voice of their husband or wife or children just to satisfy your own vanity.
