TL;DR: I don't think Nick is going to get a sweetheart deal because the prosecution was already lenient with It's charging.

They were incredibly lenient. He could've been charged for dosing his kid with the cocaine (step up in felony level from child endangerment), could've been charged for possession with intent to distribute (drug dealer shit), DUI, PPP loan fraud. Hell, if the rape kit thing is true, he could've been charged with child molestation (although he would've skated on that one since it's so severe they would never give him the benefit of a doubt there). And who knows what's on his devices. Death threats to Aaron? Child porn (acquired from Vito or Juju or Melton maybe)? God even knows.
