I was wondering how Nick would be able in these circumstances to keep a lid on things in the house and with both women. His solution was about as degenerate and cult-like as one would expect. Kayla at the house is a benzo'ed out zombie. Mostly up in the bedroom all day apparently watching Star Trek.

April on the other hand is a literal kept woman. She is kept alone in a decrepit and horribly empty Silent Hill haunted house next door on-demand available for Nick's needs. But otherwise cut off from the rest of the world aside from whatever she does on twitter. She has limited access to some form of television and no conventional internet.

She is already essentially in something worse than prison and doesn't seem to understand it. Its not difficult to understand someone losing their mind in a situation like that after six months. Even though I doubt they are really friends, she reaches out to talk to Keanu because that is probably all she has left in terms of outside human contact aside from twitter. Drugs would only make things worse of course.

April's current behavior begins to make a degree of sense. That kind of isolation would lead to someone like her becoming desperate for any kind of social interaction, fixated on Nick as the main person giving her social interaction (on his terms), communicating with an untrustworthy person in Keanu and going out for self-abuse from Nick's alogs on Twitter.

Nick is playing with fire in all this and it could end really badly. Nick really shouldn't be around people at all anymore. He is at the point where he has become the type of person that should be prison, not for punishment, but to protect the world from him.

I don't have time to read all the posts u this thread, just the highlights. But it sounds kinda like that bit in Breaking Bad when Walter White offers that guy bringing supplies five grand to play cards with him.

During Melton's stream on Nov 07, he described a good analogy to this reveal as if Rekieta had "bugged" Aaron's house. This was all before Rekieta published his X post, alluding to having access to privileged personal information from Aaron, a fact that blew back on his face.
