Oh wow, they gonna invent an entire Domestic Violence Arc against Aaron to worm out of this? maybe they were watching the Sarah Boone Trial and recognized how well it was working for Sarah. After all that talk about wishing Aaron the best and hoping he makes a million dollars I look forward to Nick and April getting torpedoed in court by their own words (once again).

Edit: It could also be possible that Aaron bought the safe for Nick & Kayla and so they plan to pin that on him as well, Nick and April often reveal a lot when thinking that they're playing coy.
