Hey y'all -
Financial Solidarity Requested

I know that there is a lot of current events going on and stuff - but I am literally going to need everyone’s help with sharing my fundraiser this weekend. I need to raise a good $150.00 by Tuesday

I have a trip planned to Oakland CA next Friday morning (6 January to Monday 9 January) to rescue out more clothes I and by extension my partner Victoria Valimir needs - this was supposed to happen last month but the bicycle happened and I had to seize the opportunity to obtain that. Vikki has an inadequate amount of clothes per her having to flee homelessness in Spokane WA back in October and I don’t have adequate winter clothes to get through winter here in Oregon (I only have enough layers for a SF Bay Area winter - which means warm winter and rain)

This trip is going to be done on a shoestring budget, I buy the bus ticket, Leave Portland, then I arrive in Oakland, fill up about two backpacks of clothes, then I am sleeping outdoors in the woods outside in the Oakland hills for one night, then grab the filled bags and back on the buses back to Portland the very next evening.

This is an in-an-out moving stuff out of storage unit trip. That’s it – no side trips outside of Oakland and Berkeley. Strictly business moving stuff out of there and back to Portland with me.

I will need gas station food $30 for the bus trip in/outbound to/from Oakland, transit fare $20 (AC Transit Transbay and Local buses) , and a $15 extra bag fee to get covered , the reminder of what I am asking for will help for the bus ticket.

So will you help me with getting the word out about this situation I need to get done

Does anyone reading this post actually believe that he's going to pick up clothing there? I feel like if that's what he needed it'd be way cheaper to just provisionally buy some cheap stuff, even if it's at a thrift store. Judging by his apartment I'm assuming he's off to pick up more gross bdsm stuff because clearly that's what his apartment is sorely lacking.

Sorry Phil, but all of your asspatters will probably be giving money to your auntie Greta and uncle Nina to cover their misadventures with immigration right now.

Shitty Tatoo photos incoming.

The bears are going to have a feast.

Even bears have standards, people!

Phil needs to refine his language a bit. "Gibs me dat" does not require so much talking and nobody is going to read that far.

Let's google clothes drives in the portland area and see what comes up :D

So now Toren's reduced to wearing Phil's philty castoffs? No wonder the poor guy's so depressed. :c

storage fees + travel fees, hes paying more than a lot of people do each month on groceries... I feel like so many cows money problems could be solved with very simple money management courses that they could likely take for free via their tugboat sources.

Why wouldn't he just go to Goodwill? That's what people do when they don't have money but need a coat. They go to Goodwill. $20 and he'd be warm with a coat. $50 and he'd also have a few new shirts, warm pants and socks.

Not to mention in all this time, they've spent money on bats, delivery pizza and blocks of cheese instead of clothing themselves.

People like this are the reason social welfare is the joke that it is.

Ostatnio edytowane:
If Phil was serious about getting his stuff from CA to OR, he'd figure out how to hire a mover to do it in one go instead of doing it sack by sack at a time. I think he's doing his best to play up his hardships to make people more sympathetic.

Phil powiedział(a):
This was supposed to happen last month but the bicycle happened and I had to seize the opportunity to obtain that so that it can sit unused in my living room.

God bless his pointed little head.
