He's probably working at a McDonalds and betraying his true people, or spudfolk.

If it's a tll scam, why would he be complaining about "transmuting"?

I think it's a casual lie. Normally if he's trying to push that angle he'll have a story that either sounds like complete bullshit or a very one-sided version. This whole thing seems suspect so I'm just going to wait because Phil doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut.

I wouldn't put it past Phil for volunteering to be his convoluted English for "had to get a job to pay for utilities"

He's probably just running this because people are no longer donating as much, so he has to show them that he's worthy of donating.

I don't know why anyone is assuming Phil is actually volunteering anywhere, as opposed to just going some place like a restaurant or library for a couple hours, trading around and then pretending he's 'volunteering.'

So I'm only speaking from experience with my state, but is there a chance that the volunteer work is in exchange for being able to receive food stamps? That's how it is where I am now--you can't just get them, you have to work for them along with your normal job.

I'm thinking he's actually gotten a job so he can pay his bills. From what I've gathered, his tard bux don't cover everything, plus he paid for the bike and all the accessories out of his own pocket because he couldn't get enough on his youcaring page.

Likely true
Phil would never admit to being a wage slave for the patriarchal CISYSTEM.
Gotta wonder how/if this affects his yard bux or housing.

You don't have to do that in Oregon if you're disabled.

Who would hire him? Fast food would require him get a food handlers card, he'd practically have to wear a burka to cover up his tattoos, he may of been able to fake being civil in his youth but now he's just too much of a sped to really rein it in. Anything involving heavy lifting (or really anything requiring him to lift 15lbs. or more) is right out as well.

Also something to consider is that Phil lies a lot.

Unless some hard evidence crops up, I'm calling bullshit on him having a job.

If I remember correctly
@Smutley and I pointed out that one of the terms of service with Phil's housing group is he's required to work a few hours a week at one of their projects
So maybe that kicked in
