Any Norse/rune spergs want to decipher what the universe is trying to tell her? I imagine it means 'you caused this shitstorm, deal with it.'
Cartomancy is pretty forgiving in how one does it. The positions have meaning but they aren't set in stone. You can make up your own spreads and its pretty common on Tumblr so the meaning behind the positions could be anything. This looks like an attempt at a standard six-card tarot reading. The positioning seems really off though (aka lazy). Here's an, um, druid resource for this. 6 card reading Actually reading tarot/oracle places a lot of importance on the position of the cards and their meaning. This just seems like, well, as I said, lazy. I funneled it through a religious sperg friend of mine (studies religion for lulz) and he was lost.
I'm assuming her mat is a patch she's painted? Anyone sperging on that, let me know.
Even the universal standards do not place 3 in a row, 2 columns. It's one straight line. Each card has a meaning depending on where it is placed. (But don't let me stop you, Kiwis, get your own today!) Basically, the position of the cards is SUPER IMPORTANT because it corresponds to actual meaning. We spent a little bit of time looking for the setup here and were just lost.
But let's not stop the Gyro larp train, haters. What could we glean from what we have been so (wrongfully) provided?
Here is the deck she is using. Interestingly enough, it links to Amazon and "gaming" vendors. Hmm.
Trying to find the little book that comes with these kinds of sets, but I can't find it so far. That'll be the key to her intepreted "meaning," funneled through Staph brain of course. If we can't find it, I'll take one for the team and order the set. I'll keep lo(o)ki(i)ng though.
Here are a couple of examples I just pulled off of Google:
With out knowing what specific spread was used there isnt much that can be gleamed from it.
