Maybe his Dad is trying to send him back to Bible camp.

Like one of those "America is a Christian nation" extremist kind of camps? You would think Jace would fit right in, especially if it has a paramilitary bent to it. Some of them do.

Seriously though, I wonder what kind of effect this "camp" is having on his delusions?

Oh my God. Looks like troll's-a-gonna-troll. Like... wow, I'm sitting here in mirth taking this whole thing in.

I'm considering this a "saga" now. Whether or not you do, I don't care, because this is the first real big thing to happen to Jace since I've started following.

Did he just say "The CIA will arrest you for trolling me?"

Jace is probably too lost in his delusions to realize it, but he actually has something of a legal case here. Obviously not one for the CIA, but certainly for somebody, impersonating a police officer is not a joke as far as the justice system is concerned. It probably won't ever go anywhere or even be noticed unless this whole thing drives him over some invisible edge and he goes and does something insane. At that point, if he or someone else dies during his stress induced psychotic break, manslaughter charges would most likely get lumped in with those impersonation charges. Not trying to rain on anybody's parade, but these things can, and have, spun out of control before, and to be honest, the UK/Commonwealth is really the last place you want to be if you're going to be doing these things. They like to make examples of people.

Of course, the whole thing is completely illegal under PfHA1997, but I'm not really convinced that anyone even cares about that law anymore.

But if the whole thing did spin out of control and things went literally as bad as they could possibly go (Jace suicides, people get put on trial), at least it would be really, really, really interesting to watch. Not that I wish for anyone to suicide or go to prison.

That Call Night video is intense though, like wow, crying over nothing at all.. the schizophrenia is strong with this one.

Well, "as bad as they could possibly go" isn't Jace killing himself, it's Jace killing Tyce in the belief that he is some kind of thoughform, or Jace making the 3-4 hour drive to New York City to stalk and/or assassinate the Special Representative (Liaison) to INTERPOL. That is the worst case scenario here, and that is why impersonating a police officer is such a serious crime. If you want to call the guy an idiot, or get on him for pretending to be a Marine, that's one thing, but this "epic troll" is actually quite dangerous, especially when you're dealing with someone who is regularly taking, or at least has access to, multiple types of paranoia and psychosis inducing drugs.

The Interpol scenario is scary but I doubt Jace is that smart or stable.

On the other hand, him trying to kill Tyce (whether succeeding or not) I would personally find downright fucking hilarious.

Keep being a perpetual buzzkill, Wizard. More sex for me.

We talking about the same guy whose weapons of revenge are toilet paper and airsoft guns? All seems a little melodramatic to me.

I hope one day Jace and Tyce kiss and make up.

All he needs to do to get a gun without a background check or anything is to go to a flea market. He could walk off with a Marlin for less than what he'd pay on an airsoft gun. Just sayin' it's a possibility

There's a few possibilities as to what's going on with the "pick up a WHEEL gun" issue.
  • He doesn't know that secondhand firearm dealers at private shows can sell him a gun without background checks.
  • He can't afford one or has no real ambition to get a real gun.
  • His mother has explicitly told him not to buy a real gun and listens to her.
  • There's some little voice of sanity in his head that compels him to avoid a lethal firearm. In one video where he's talking about conceal carry he mentions "this is a replica, otherwise I'd shoot my dick off". It suggests he's aware enough to know it's not a good idea for him to own one.

He always seems to say something along the lines of shooting himself. I think he said that in the stream where he was showing off his kitchen knives and toy guns, or maybe in Weekly Livestream #2

Massachusetts not only requires a background check for any purchases made at a gun show, it requires a license to purchase one. It is illegal in MA to sell any kind of firearm or even ammo to someone without a license, so people don't fuck around there knowing they hold legal responsibility for it.

The only exception to this is firearms manufactured before 1899, but it is INCREDIBLY unlikely he would go get an antique black powder rifle to kill tyce, and even more unlikely that he could figure out how to use it.

Luckily (for us, not the other poor saps living there), he lives in one of the states with the strictest gun control laws.

I really don't think Jace is a killer, I think he's very much like CWC in that respect, in that it's all pent up frustration and wishful thinking. I'd be surprised if he could cut the head off a chicken without suffering PTSD. If he was for real he could've been round to Tyce's house and sorted shit out real quick. I think we've all known people like that, and Jace ain't one of them.

Given what we've seen, I don't think any old gun would be fine for Jace anyways. He'd have to get his hands on a .50 Desert Eagle or something crazy like that, otherwise it wouldn't fit in with the story he's written in his head. I mean, could anyone imagine Stryker wielding a conservative, .38 revolver? Let alone, could he AFFORD any gun he'd desire to purchase? A DE easily would cost four figures, even a cheap, non tricked out one. Given his lifestyle and his income, about the only thing I could see him being able to afford would be a Hi Point 9mm, but I don't think he'd get it (even if he could obtain a license) because it wouldn't be the type of gun a future Marine would carry.
