Private schools only seem better because the kids are better. Self selection. The actual education makes little difference
Private, non-religious schools in my area can cost up to 40K/year. We can assume that most of the kids who go to these schools are from wealthy families and have tutors and nannies etc., and possibly even parents who are involved in their kids' education. From the consumer's perspective, it's great. From the employee perspective, it sucks. Private schools pay nothing, you don't get that good state health insurance, and you don't have a union to protect you from abuse. Parents think that because they're spending so much money, they can direct the curriculum and micromanage the staff. It's messy business. Often, pain in the ass kids who get kicked out are let back in when Daddy endows a new gym.

Anyway, Rackets probably thinks that any school, public or private, is full of freedom-hating, transformer-stealing, jello pushers and it makes him look good to keep his kids away from that kind of thing. Not for their benefit, obviously, as it was reported some of his kids weren't even registered as students with the state which is a misdemeanor even in cases of homeschooling. That's because there are standards like 4 years of English to graduate high school, etc. I hope the kiddos are getting a useful education and not lolbert jesus riding a dinosaur type shit.

According to my half-assed self-delete risk assessment of someone who is not my client, he may have ideation but hasn't disclosed any specific plan or shown non-substance-related self-harm. Not a serious risk, but he should see a therapist (as if.)

I ran the Nick Rekieta thread through Google's Notebook LM, and the result was pretty interesting. So, I decided to turn it into a 'documentary-podcast thing':

The Nick Rekieta Downfall using Google's NotebookLM

https://youtube.com/watch?v=HVW0xB-dYH4
Sorry I couldn't upload a local version—the 'Kiwi Farms' low-bitrate render still ended up being too large (over 100MB)

NotebookLM struggled a bit with the timeline (it couldn’t really get it right) and had some quirks, like jumping from one topic to another in weird ways. After 48 iterations, this is the best version I came up with. I hope people find it as amusing as I do.

I've used text, png and clips from the users: @Himedall All-seeing Waifu, @Balldo's Gate, @elb, @MNPublicRecords, @John Andrews Stan, @MNPublicRecords, @Not Who You Think, @Useful_Mistake, @WhoDaresWhoCaresWhoKnows, @Captain Manning, @2lolis1cup, @Potatoherder & @Neetorino, @3MMA, @Ethan Ralph Is 5'1"
(Sorry if I forgot anyone, there were many clips)

'The podcast talk' was created using Google’s NotebookLM, with some minor audio edits from me.
The ‘hosts’ are AI-generated images made with Microsoft’s Designer.
I edited the video using DaVinci Resolve 19.

This is incredible!

He's an idiot. The vast majority of law in the area where he lives is going to be that kind of stuff, fender benders, whiplash, minor domestic crimes, and drugged-out losers like himself. Actually the majority of law everywhere is shit like that, but there are big cases even in the boonies if you cover a large enough geographical region.

You're not going to get that unless you start at the top (i.e. not out of a fourth tier toilet) or establish a reputation.

This is how you make a good impression and end up with your own practice. Instead, Nick's first impression was as a colossal douchebag with an oversized sense of entitlement despite his undersized talent and work ethic.
Exactly! And the irony of it: he ended up (sort of) doing exactly the quotidian staples of a solo gp anywhere - and did a terrible job across the board bc he was alternately too stupid to understand and too arrogant to accept 1) the idea of building skills and a practice, 2) that not everything is A Very Constitutional Issue, and 3) that tutelage or even someone to learn from or bounce ideas off of is absolutely KEY and virtually no lawyer or other professional becomes great without it (and that is a lifetime endeavor, both giving and receiving).

It's very possible she thought it was one of these types of candy/sherbet:
Are these like fun dip? A child could have definitely seen a powder in a bright neon container, thought it was something like fun dip, take a spoonful and think it's disgusting, but ended up accidentally taking a scoop of cocaine. I still think this is all connected to when he had to take a day off streaming to closely watch one of his kids all night.

I have worked at a lot of private schools, and a good chunk are significantly worse schools than public and only exist because there are people too religious to send their kids to public school need somewhere cheap to send their kids.
In reality there's several things that determine the quality of schooling:
  1. School itself
  2. Parental involvement
  3. Student themself
Best school for a kid who slacks and a parent who won't push them won't mean much but burning a hole in the family's finances.

It's very strange to see Harman who i only know off because of his sucking off if Nintendo commentate on Rekeita.

Iirc Harman was a-logging Nick even before this thread turned. Don’t watch him aside from clips posted here or when he stream snipes, but credit to him for calling out Nick earlier than most.

I hope the kiddos are getting a useful education and not lolbert jesus riding a dinosaur type shit.

There has to be a reason the oldest son chose to go to the private Christian school rather than the homeschool co-op. With a lazy idiot like Kayla being the primary “teacher” for the younger ones, aside from extracurriculars, it’s difficult to imagine they are learning anything of substance. When the cops showed up during the time most kids would be off to school, the Rekieta kids were either sleeping or on their own while Kayla & April were in the bedroom with all the coke. Nick has said kids really only need 45 minutes of educational instruction per day, but seems like that was only some days, & the rest of the time they were playing Roblox on iPads.

According to Aaron, he hits himself like a tard when he gets angry. Not sure if that would be classified as substance related or not.

He also buys shitty paintings for like 40 000$.
The paintings look like those that are reproduced in China, the gallery staff would have evaluated how rich and stupid he is then charged him
way over what they are worth. Earning themselves a generous commission while Rekieta thought he was buying valuable art, because it was so expensive not realising he got worked.

I feel sorry for anyone in rehab or group therapy with Nick, if he gets court ordered to that shit.

It won't be enough for him to argue with people that he doesn't need to be there. Folks like Nick will actively try to sabotage others as means to prove that it's all pointless.

It's one of the ways a lot of assholes get kicked out.

I'm convinced now that Nick has always been a piece of shit, but this is still not the same guy from 3 years ago. That Nick was a man who was capable of talking intelligently about a topic or defending a position coherently. This Nick is a crazy person... A brain damaged wreck gibbering into the abyss about how he's still superior to those podunk methheads he's been forced to interact during these "recovery" sessions.
People can hold contradictory personalities and behaviours within themselves, cognitive dissonance is a powerful thing. I think in Nick's case, the drug use and fame caused a dormant side to become dominant, and he's also no longer capable of the juggling act because he's fried his brain. It'd be hilarious if he is genuinely sober and this is just his deranged, default mental state now. Kind of like how Ralph is a xanny zombie regardless of if he's using or not.

Lol with what gun, Nick? Maybe you plan on using your level 37 dick sucking skills to just suck the bullet out of the case so hard it blows your brains out?
Probably the illegal gun(s) he still has. Just kidding. He would never shoot himself with the illegal guns he still has.

I'm thoroughly convinced that Nick's daughter found one of those cocaine bullets and ate the contents, believing it to be candy/sherbet. Especially if it was a brightly coloured bullet:

He probably won't see jail time for this, but the smarmy fuck definitely should.
Users here have stated that kids would not like it because it is too bitter. A valid argument.

I still think that the curious kid saw her parents and "nanny" doing bumps thinking that they are super sly in that bombed out junkie kind of way. And the adults seemed to really love it. So the kid found a cocaine bullet laying around or noticed where the cocaine bullets were kept (purse, dirty clothing pockets laying around, mom & dad's room when they have left or passed out, Dad's streaming room stash), and then imitated them. It feels good and is addictive. Why would this kid stop?

You wouldn't like the taste but you might like the effects once they kicked in. Any congrats to Nick, anyone exposed to drugs at an early age is much more likely to follow up on that as an adult, even if they weren't genetically predisposed, and considering their piece of shit drug addict dad, they probably are.

I'm sure Nick just thinks that's funny and weird though.

Do you really think all those Wallstreet guys are living in the gutter?
A man can dream.

He wants to speedrun getting right back to cocaine and alcohol. Totally doesn't have a problem though.
Well now that the government told him not to do drugs he has to double down.

Where I live everyone considers those size cans as the ones for mixing with liquor, they're usually only sold in liquor stores or bars.
As someone whose rarely consumes alcohol I appreciate this information. I see them in the supermarket in the same location as the, er, normal can size.

Nick is just introducing the benefits of medicinal cocaine to his kin

The rest of the world just doesn't understand and thinks it's "bad for you", but they don't understand that Nick's the only man alive that's immune to addiction
