Private schools only seem better because the kids are better. Self selection. The actual education makes little difference
Private, non-religious schools in my area can cost up to 40K/year. We can assume that most of the kids who go to these schools are from wealthy families and have tutors and nannies etc., and possibly even parents who are involved in their kids' education. From the consumer's perspective, it's great. From the employee perspective, it sucks. Private schools pay nothing, you don't get that good state health insurance, and you don't have a union to protect you from abuse. Parents think that because they're spending so much money, they can direct the curriculum and micromanage the staff. It's messy business. Often, pain in the ass kids who get kicked out are let back in when Daddy endows a new gym.
Anyway, Rackets probably thinks that any school, public or private, is full of freedom-hating, transformer-stealing, jello pushers and it makes him look good to keep his kids away from that kind of thing. Not for their benefit, obviously, as it was reported some of his kids weren't even registered as students with the state which is a misdemeanor even in cases of homeschooling. That's because there are standards like 4 years of English to graduate high school, etc. I hope the kiddos are getting a useful education and not lolbert jesus riding a dinosaur type shit.
According to my half-assed self-delete risk assessment of someone who is not my client, he may have ideation but hasn't disclosed any specific plan or shown non-substance-related self-harm. Not a serious risk, but he should see a therapist (as if.)
