The evidence against it being an accident is:

1) The testing seems to indicate it wasn't a one-time accident. That she was using cocaine for a while on a regular basis.

2) The children seeming to have been coached on what to say to CPS if they tested positive for drugs.

3) Nick knew she would test positive before the test was done by CPS. He was literally explaining away the result in court before any testing had even been done.

I thought the whole idea that the kid was intentionally dosed was absurd right up until the court transcript where Nick pre-emptively explains away any drug use by any of the children as having nothing to do with him or their home life. Its still hard to believe he would give one of his children cocaine, but its equally difficult to explain how he knew one of the children would test positive before the fact.

I still have an open question why the child that tested positive for long term and high volume coke usage was the young girl and none of the other children. Why was it that the only child testing positive for enormous amount of coke use was the youngest girl child?

Yea, see my edit. AFIAK the test results as documented are too unspecific to rule anything out. It's my understanding that there are tests which can determine frequency of use and make some determination of timing -- but without super expensive lab testing (and the documented results) anyone here is just going to be guessing.

The timing may be wrong. The "need to watch family member" incident was in February of this year IIRC. His daughter wasn't tested until late May/early June. So a single dose may have cleared from her system by then.

Personally I'm going to go with the theory that her parents and their swinger side pieces are a bunch of stupid junkies and think cocaine is perfectly fine to give to children because their coke addled brains said so.
