If you look at Jakes tweet he literally says that Jimmy knew and they had discussed it before RSO was hired.
For someone so business-savvy and dead set on cultivating this image branded for kids, why would he willingly hire someone who is a true deviant RSO? He had 8-10mm subscribers in 2018, could have easily found someone with the same skillset and expertise as this guy to manage. This wasn't a Kris "behind the scenes" ordeal where it wasn't really known until people spoke out, it was literally told to him and publicly accessible on the registry.
I don't want to over-speculate, but something really isn't adding up here for someone like Jimmy, who is extremely tactile with literally every career decision he has ever made since the inception of his channel, to hire someone who is a legitimate danger to both his employees and channel/personal reputation. We're missing something.

Ever since I started seeing this annoying soyfag's face plastered all over Youtube that I knew there was something off about him. *ersonally, I believe that truly good people don't go around yelling about how good they are and this faggot's advertising his "goodness" to millions. A few people said as much, that the whole thing was suspicious and that those who gloat the most about their kindness have the worst secrets to hide, and every single time, even here on the Kiwi Farms, those people were ignored, rebuffed and even attacked because "he does charity", as if charity wasn't the #1 thing millionaires do to shield themselves from criticism and hide the skeletons in their closets.
I knew a massive controversy would eventually happen, and frankly, those who didn't are incredibly naive and terrible judges of character. The only thing I somehow didn't expect is that it started with a tranny pedophile.

Based on Jake's statement, I don't think that's the case. I think he's using the wrong terminology and implying something different to what's actually happening.
In some places certain convictions drop off your criminal record after a certain period of time. That's not "dropping the charges". I have never heard of offences against children or sexual offences being among those which drop off criminal records but I'm not familiar with Delaware law, either.
Sex offender registration is sometimes required for a specific period of time. I don't recall a time period being stated on either registry but it is possible he may have been required to remain on the registers for a certain period of time and that he's complied with all of the conditions during that time. It may be that time period isn't the same for the Delaware and NC registers.
I'm not sure whether the same applies in the US, but here we have something called a working with children check. Pretty much anyone who comes into contact with children in the course of their employment, however incidentally, needs to have one regularly. They are different to criminal records checks because they will show convictions which no longer appear in a person's criminal records. It's also an offence not to disclose a conviction for an offence against children or having ever been on a SOR.
Given the nature of the conviction, "I believe he did nothing wrong" doesn't cut it. Even if you believe BIL made a terrible, terrible mistake as a teenager, you don't just accept his story at face value knowing damn well that in telling you he might be trying to establish his own narrative in case you find out some other way.
You want to see every official record related to that conviction. You want evidence that multiple other people were accused. You want to see what evidence the prosecution had and especially if the initial charges were plea bargained down. Nothing Jake said suggests that any attempts at all were made to verify BIL's story.

Catching up on the thread to mention that it doesn't just impact monetization but I think it also impacts the algorithm so videos with these types of words can be effectively deboosted and shadowbanned automatically making it much harder to go viral and to be seen by people.
I was told that by someone who did videos on fairly controversial subjects about 4 years ago so not sure if it's still true but might explain it if it is.

Part 1 was purely logos and ethos. Facts, case after case. Establishing a strong ethos, he worked for MR Beast, he knows people in the industry.
I think the part 2 video was almost purely for the sake of pathos. A lot of people who watched part 2 will react with feelings. Now that he has established himself as a figure to be trusted he can really let loose.
And it is incredibly effective to rally people using pathos. To the point it can blind them to facts.
