Because all Cubans must be dark skinned. In all seriousness, it's only a screenshot of a handful. There would no doubt be more there that weren't taken. Not to mention some of said Cubans could also be of mixed heritage that it affects their skin color.
Guilting only gets you so far before people end up finding it annoying. As with the Joss Whedon tweet, the response he got was rather gold. If he really wants to show care, why not let a Native American family have his fancy home instead of bitching on social media.
