I don't disagree, but it should be noted that the Aaron thing is part and parcel of a broader effort by him to try and shut people up and/or discredit them in way that would help him out of a mess he got himself into. Under a constructive possession charge, what matters is knowledge of the drugs presence and an ability to exercise control over them. If someone puts drugs in your car and you know two weeks later that there are drugs in the car and you can be shown to be able to exercise control over those drugs being in your car, they have you.

In Nick's case, the drugs being in his bedroom, him admitting that he sleeps in the bedroom to the police and the drugs & drug gear being so obviously in the room and all of them being so dirty with the coke makes any defense against the possession charge itself doomed. All the usual avenues of defense in that sort of charge are unavailable to him. All he can really do is go after the warrant.
