I'm not even a fan a kamala but people saying shes "incredibly unpopular" are wrong. dem fundraising via actblue (i,e non-corp donors) is at like 50m. this doesnt mean shes going to beat trump, but acting like dropping dementia biden and replacing him with the VP is a "blunder" is hubris. that being said, voting is gay.
Donations don't equal popularity. Also, I might be wrong but I believe donations for presidential campaigns nowadays go up to billion dollars or something like that, so 50 million isn't that outstanding given the scale.

What it really means is that Trump doesn't know who to go after - they'll pull a mystery candidate out of nowhere and Trump's team won't have enough time to make a case against them.
That also means nobody will be able to make a case for them either.

"I barely know enough about you to diss you!"

I was reading a fourth wave feminist subreddit on reddit yesterday and all seem to think people cloak their misogyny by expecting a woman politician to be charismatic while not holding men to the same standards.

That's not true. Plenty of men give off douchey unappealing vibes to voters. Ted Cruz comes to mind. Harris doesn't seem authentic or likeable. Like Hillary. There are other females I find more palatable. I am female although not American. I don't think most people care about the gender of the president but there is something about appearing likeable.

There was a famous gender swapped recreation of one of the 2016 debates that tested this very issue and everyone found female Trump to be much more appealing and reasonable sounding than male Hillary.

The feminists on reddit seem to be concerned about why is Kamala being addressed as Kamala rather than Harris as males tend to be called by their last name. Like how about focus on her skills and policy? We call him Bernie and not Sanders. It's a trivial issue

As a Canadian in Canada, America has problems. We do too. Health care, gun violence. I think America is a decent country but going around saying 'we're great' seems to just be a way to live in la la land. I don't support the opposite which is that America is horrible and racist. I mean nothing is perfect. I'm a realist. I do support countries putting themselves first and being united but there are difficult truths people need to accept if society is to get better.
Nothing wrong with Patriotism. Its fucking refreshing to see someone stand up and say that, to see someone take pride in the country and tell people to take pride in it.

Are these redditards so dumb that they fucking forget that literally no one addressed Hillary as "Clinton"? EVERYONE fucking called her Hillary -- both proponents and opponents alike. Jesus Christ, NPCs make me MATI.

And while we're at it, aside from Bernie and Hillary, what about fucking Tulsi? That's three examples of current year first-name Democrats right there.

Forbes/Harris X just released a Trump vs Harris poll and it's Trump +6. The same poll for Trump vs Biden was Trump +2. So far between this, the AJC and Fox Atlanta polls, Trump's top number is a lot higher against Harris than against Biden. Also want to point out without leaners it's Trump +9.

I think people should take pride in who they are and their actions. I just don't understand this patriotism concept. I mean you shouldn't feel ashamed but why take pride in where you were born? That's not an achievement. I think George Carlin talked about this.

Obviously in the context of being a politician, being patriotic makes sense. Being American is just one identity. At work, I would create unity by referring to the company collective.

My other point is because America basically runs the world, other countries especially Canada and Mexico, watch how you present yourselves so yes the messaging of a politician isn't just for the Americans but for the international community.

I'd be mindful of patriotism because America is also a key figure in the global community

🤔
So you mean to tell me that nobody actually gives a shit about the policies put forth by either candidate but only about superficial qualities like their sex and skin color?

some say this is AI, but I don't know jack; seems real to me.

You use both interchangeably because otherwise your writing sounds stupid.

In the opening you use full names so the reader knows who you are talking about and then you are free to use Mr. Trump, Trump, The Former President, 45th President of the United States, The Republican Nominee, Donald, Donald Trump, The Trump Campaign...

This is the reason pronouns exist to begin with, it's cumbersome to refer to the subject over and over and over again. Just like it's cumbersome to deal with Tranny's and their bullshit pronouns.

Even if Kalama is going to get the nomination, there really needs to be a few people to run against her to get the nomination. Good way to test her out and show she can take on Trump. If she fails, then they still have people to replace her with. But I see the dems being too fearful to go against her and want to rush her through to give the image of party unity.

The main thing I wonder, is, will Biden give Kalama more to do in order to show if she is capable of being the next President, or will his ego stop him.

I just don't understand this patriotism concept.
Of course you don't, leaf.
I think America is a decent country but going around saying 'we're great' seems to just be a way to live in la la land.
I don't get how you can come up with the idea that patriotism means ignoring the problems. The whole reason there are sides to choose is that there are problems with many viewpoints on how much they matter, how we should solve them, etc.

To win in politics you need energy and excitement. You have to be able to get people worked up.
