Holy fuck.. Dem-con and everything else is going to be an absolute shit show!

All attempts to make the best of a bad situation are going to instantly go up in flames once the different factions (progressives, id-pols, leftists, establishments, moderates) realize that all bets are off and there is a chance to shove someone through who wouldn't normally have a chance. You'll have id-pol fems arguing "her turn", race mongers doing the same. You'll have the more straight progs arguing for the most holy of believers. You'll have leftists pushing. Moderates pushing for left/prog lites.. All while the establishment tries to enact a plan of their own.

Yes, these forces always exist but their expectations are tempered by the process.. But now that's all out the window, now's the chance. My bets are going with the hyperbolic "it's the current year/her turn/anything but male and white" types since they are so rabid at the moment in society. So the diversity pick.. the worst possible option. Remember that this wont be hil-hil.. and instead someone with almost no experience and even less brains, competence, likeability or personality.

Seems to be that the only people with true shadow power are rich megadonors, and Nancy Pelosi. Mitch McConnell wishes he had that kind of control over Trump's political status.

The sad thing is that Dems could have a dead person run for office, and they’d still vote for the dead person. Though, I’d argue that the #BlueNoMatterWho has been detrimental to the overall party, as it lets very mediocre candidates win just because there’s a (D) next to the name.

Additionally they’ll spend the next 4-8 years making Donald Trump’s life a living fucking hell. Trump is going to have a solid decade of tarring and feathering, it’s going to be a fucking rough ride for him in preparation for the next election cycle.

What makes me laugh is that the historic achievement of “First American Female President” was lost twice to Trump, who they regard as the worst womanizer in the history of presidents. It’s bad enough to lose but that’s just salt in the birth canal.

That attitude is exactly why she's going to win. I'd bet money on it. Republicans will think the same thing, get complacent and a large percentage of them won't go out to vote thinking the win is in the bag and their votes aren't needed, whereas with all the anti trump hysteria every democrat is going to be in a frenzy to vote to keep trump out of the white house

This means Trump can campaign unopposed for like a month at least. The fuck were these retards thinking? Hillary not campaigning in the rust belt was enough to throw the '16 election to Trump and they're pretty much repeating the same mistake.
