@pineapples_are_evil2 Bella had cartilage hair hypolasia. It causes dwarfism, SCID and hirschprungs

Since she had a bone marrow transplant, even if failed, my belief is that she develoed
graft vs host disease (aka rejection) which caused the BO (bronchiolitis obliterans) which is responsible for the pulmonary fibrosis that caused her death

A bmt doesn’t have to be successful to develop GVHD. The mere presence of donor cells in the bmt is enough to cause it

Huh. Didn't realize that it all had an umbrella disorder. Generally, you're simply unlucky enough to have one.

I agree with you about the Graft vs Host.

Thank you for taking time to do a comprehensive writeup, but she was genuinely sick and definitely doesn't belong ITT.

I'm sure you are aware, but for anyone that isn't, there is some discussion of Bella (and primarily of her mum) in the Tard Baby General thread. Bella most definitely wasn't a cow, but her mum may well have been, had her kid lived.

Whether she goes MbP on the brother is yet to be seen, but given Bella has actually died of legitimate and non-iatrogenic/munch-induced problems, I don't think she belongs in here.
Aww crap. I thought she'd been posted in here! smh!

Bella definitely not a cow but oof that mother.

EDIT: fixed the issue with the images not being actually included within the text for some reason. Sorry for the initial flood!

Disney adults and munchies… the perfect pairing.
As I’m pretty sure a few others have explained before in this thread, DAS (Disability Access Service) at the Disney theme parks has recently been overhauled this year due to rampant abuse. DAS is not a legally required accommodation, it’s a nice thing they do on top of ADA stuff.

Now, it’s only given to select people with autism or other neurodevelopmental disabilities that basically can’t understand the concept or purpose of a line/waiting because they’re genuinely retarded. This means some a lot of people who previously used DAS are no longer eligible because being in a wheelchair or needing a mobility device (even though most attractions are ADA approved— the few that aren’t/were grandfathered in, like older rides at Disneyland, have alternative accommodations) or having other, sooper speeshal invisible illnesses, aren’t being treated as get-outta-line free cards anymore. (Ironically, a ton of these people are complaining about not being able to bypass the normal lines based on claimed conditions that the parks explicitly warn against going on attractions with in the first place.)

Currently, people who want DAS have to do an “interview” with a cast member to explain why they need it, and things like not liking the heat, claustrophobia, being sensitive to loud noises, anxiety, etc. don’t cut it anymore. If you have those issues, your accommodation is that you can step out of line and go calm down and rejoin the line later. Otherwise, suck it up or pay for one of the many non-disability passes that let you skip the regular line.

Ex-DAS users are losing their fucking minds over this. Facebook groups with thousands of members are made in order to figure out tips and tricks to “pass” the interview, petitions (lol), a gofundme for a mobile billboard to drive around during D23 (a big Disney event) is set up (and successfully funded), there are discussions about (and funds solicited for) starting a charity group about the issue because no actual disability charities want to partner with these people, rumors swirl that the credentials of the medical professionals who supervise the interviewing process for DAS are forging their degrees and licensure, people are calling layers and contacting every single person involved from the cast members to the CEO, people are boycotting the parks (then decide to go anyways), guests with IBS/bowl issues threaten to start intentionally shitting themselves if they are made to wait in line, official and fan sources for Disney news have comments raided by people demanding the DAS be changed back to allow anyone to use it for whatever reason… I cannot make this shit up. Is the current system perfect? Ofc not. But these people are insane.
These are their stories. dun dun
I have a big collection of screenshots, and this ain’t all of em, but I’ll spoiler it all for anyone who doesn’t want to look through it. Longer posts will have an additional spoiler. Most aren’t my screenshots unless I managed to find the original post myself, so I have no control over the censoring.

GothicRosie is… whew. She’s been dedicating every waking moment of her life since 2017 to proving information about the parks. She takes it to a whole other level.
IMG_7651.jpegIMG_7652.jpegIMG_7653.jpegIMG_7654.jpegIMG_7649.jpegIMG_7650.jpeg
She definitely can lean towards being a hypochondriac at times, but I do believe she has some genuine issues (and not just physically… you can tell from her dedicated thoroughness to documenting things that she’s definitely a special kind of special). Honestly used to enjoy her posts of information overloads (even though I no longer have anything to do with the parks) and so did many others, but she was one of the first hardcore critics of the DAS changes. She was calling for boycotts, petitions, and basically started forming her own army of insane DAS people. She’s well known to block anyone who even slightly expresses disagreement with anything she says, even if it is outright misinfo. She would post stories on her Instagram about how the thought of having to interview for DAS was keeping her up, sobbing all night, and causing her severe panic issues.
Of course, despite all these, she still frequently went to the parks. And she got confirmed for DAS. But she swears she will never stop her crusade against Disney! Even though she proved a ton of her fear-mongering info wrong by getting approved lol

Also, Disney offers special ticket pricing and hotel deals for vets. Not to mention Shades of Green? A whole fucking DISNEY RESORT literally owned by the DoD and exclusively for active service members, veterans, and their dependents.

Well shit. Very curious on what accommodations can be made- is it just like a fast pass kind of deal or what? Probably just missed the part where this was mentioned but it’s not like they can slow down a rollercoaster. Compared to the Disney psychos my pet munch doesn’t seem nearly as interesting now.

Speaking of which, she mentioned a service dog and lol at it being a “seizure alert dog”. Haven’t seen her feature this dog on her main account recently so let’s hope she’s been retired to house pet.

Basically, yeah. Coincidentally, the abuse of the DAS system became much worse after the Disney parks removed their free fast pass system and switched to paid services like Genie+, Individual Lighting Lane Lightning Lane Single Pass, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass (the newest addition about to replace Genie+.) These let you wait in the “fast pass”/Lightning Lane line which is shorter and faster than the regular standby line.
If they approve you for DAS, you can then go and receive return times for whatever attraction you are wanting to do. It’s supposed to be roughly equivalent to however long the standby time is. You can fuck around and do whatever while you wait, even if that includes standing in the standby lines for other rides lol. When you return to the attraction at the established return time, you are allowed to enter via the “fast pass”/Lightning Lane line instead of the normal one. So DAS is like a free Genie+ but with less restrictions and you can use Genie+ on top of it so you can do twice as many rides. DAS ride reservations also don’t expire like Genie+ reservations, so even if your return time says one thing you can still show up anytime after.
I think some DAS abusers would actually be willing to pay for the “fast pass” services if only they weren’t all so convoluted.
Most of this is straight from the sites of the parks and it is all an additional charge on top of the regular ticket price (and remember, you have to make reservations to go to the park too. You can’t just go whenever you want, even if you have one of their many versions of annual passes).
Also, some rides are eligible for some of these services, but not others. Different rides are available for each option, so basically if you want to ride something not “covered” by whatever one of these you bought, you have to make a separate purchase of one of the other options that does cover that attraction.
IMG_7829.jpeg
Disney Genie+ service lets you use Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions and experiences. On average, Guests can enter 2 to 3 attractions or experiences per day using Lightning Lane entrances if the first selection is made early in the day. Plus, you'll enjoy these additional features:

How It Works

  • Guests may make their first Disney Genie+ service selection for Lightning Lane entry at 7:00 AM on the day of their visit.
  • Lightning Lane entry selections are subject to limited availability on the day of your visit.
  • Guests may enjoy a Disney Genie+ service Lightning Lane entrance once per day.
  • Check the Tip Board periodically for the latest info.
How to Make a Disney Genie+ Service Lightning Lane Selection
Disney Genie+ service Lightning Lane selections can only be made one at a time. You must redeem an existing Disney Genie+ service Lightning Lane selection or wait 2 hours—whichever comes first—before making another Lightning Lane entrance selection through Disney Genie+ service. Please note: the 2-hour wait to make another selection begins when the park opens, even if you made your first booking at 7:00 AM.

Note:
Genie+ cost starts at $30 per ticket per day at Disneyland Resort, varying by date. It can be bought in advance or on the day of.

Since Disney World has multiple parks, they have park specific prices, also varying by date.
This is an example from the site I linked above for March 2024 (Spring break) at Disney World:
  • Multi-Park: $35
  • Magic Kingdom: $35
  • EPCOT: $28
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $32
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $25
Holiday Pricing (Dec. 18th 2023 to Jan. 1st 2024) at Disney World:
  • Multi-Park: $39
  • Magic Kingdom: $39
  • EPCOT: $32
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $35
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $29
This is being renamed to Lightning Lane Single Pass on July 24th.
IMG_7830.jpeg
Get quicker entry to some of our most popular attractions! You may purchase individual—or à la carte—Lightning Lane entry selections for specific attractions that aren’t offered through Disney Genie+ service. Purchase individual Lightning Lane entry for up to 2 attractions per day, one at a time. Guests may purchase this option with or without Disney Genie+ service.

How It Works

  • Guests of a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels may make their first purchase at 7:00 AM on the day of their park visit. This includes Guests of Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Shades of Green Resort.
  • All other Guests may make their first purchase when the park opens.
  • Purchase this type of Lightning Lane entry for up to 2 different experiences a day, one at a time. Please note: each experience’s Lightning Lane entrance is available once per day, per Guest—but traditional standby queues are also available for most attractions.
Note again:
ILL prices for March 2024 (Spring break) at Disney world:
  • Avatar Flight of Passage: $16
  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $17
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $12
  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: $25
  • TRON Lightcycle / Run: $20
ILL prices during the holidays (Dec. 18th 2023 to Jan. 1st 2024) at Disney World:
  • Avatar Flight of Passage: $16
  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $17
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $12
  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: $25
  • TRON Lightcycle / Run: $20
Disney World has 40+ rides you can buy Lightning Lane for (the ones above are just the most popular) and Disneyland has 15+.
IMG_7831.jpeg
Note: This (Lightning Lane Multi Pass) is what is replacing Genie+ on July 24th 2024 and is why Individual Lightning Lane is being renamed/replaced to Lightning Lane Single Pass.

When you purchase a multi pass, you can:
It’s relevant to DAS so I’d be remiss not to bring it up, even if it’s not technically a “fast pass”.

What Is a Virtual Queue?

From time to time, a virtual queue—accessible via the My Disney Experience app—may be used for select attractions or experiences. When a virtual queue is in place, you can request to enjoy that attraction or experience later in the day, so you can enjoy other experiences while you wait. When the virtual queue is in place, a standby queue will not be available, and Guests must use the My Disney Experience app to enter the attraction or experience.

On the day of your visit, you may have the opportunity to join the virtual queue at daily distribution times, which are subject to change or cancellation as availability allows. Distribution schedules will be available in the My Disney Experience app.

Select one member of your party to access the virtual queue to check for an available boarding group for everyone in your party. If multiple people in your party try to join the virtual queue simultaneously, that may inhibit your ability to join a group.

Please Be Aware That:

  • Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the experience.
  • Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on availability of the experience.
  • Guests may hold boarding groups for an attraction virtual queue and a virtual queue for other select experiences at the same time, when available.
  • Please arrive at your attraction once your boarding group is called. Be advised that late arrivals may not be accommodated.
  • Guests can request to join an attraction virtual queue at 7:00 AM (valid admission is required and select admission types may also require a theme park reservation). To request to join an attraction virtual queue at 1:00 PM, Guests must be inside the theme park where the virtual queue will be used.
  • Guests can only hold one attraction virtual queue at a time. Once the attraction virtual queue is redeemed, Guests can join another attraction virtual queue, if available.
So glad I haven’t gone to the US parks in a long time. Now I get my Disney rocks off by watching people pretend to be disabled because they want the big mouse to treat them special.
IMG_8474.jpeg
Disability Access Service (DAS)
  • DAS is intended to accommodate only those Guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar disorder, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.
  • DAS doesn’t provide immediate access to experiences, but rather allows Guests to request a return time for a specific experience that is comparable to the current standby wait.
  • The Guest for which DAS is being requested must be present during registration and must experience the attraction when redeeming a DAS return time at Walt Disney World theme parks.

Step 1: Register

Speak with a Cast Member via live video chat to determine eligibility as soon as 30 days in advance of a park visit.
If DAS is provided after a conversation with a Cast Member to determine eligibility, the Guest with a disability (or a parent/guardian) will participate in the registration process.
DAS registration maximum party size is the registered DAS Guest and up to 3 additional party members, for a total of 4 people.
DAS is valid for the length of the ticket or up to 120 days. Once the service has elapsed or when a new ticket is required, Guests will need to re-register.

Step 2: Request a Return Time

Guests registered in DAS can make return time selections right in the My Disney Experience mobile app on the day of their visit.
If additional assistance is required, Guests can also obtain return times directly from a Cast Member at any Guest Relations or Guest Experience Team location.
The return time will be comparable to the current standby wait.

Step 3: Enjoy the Park

Ten minutes after a return time has been redeemed, your party can request another one by using the My Disney Experience mobile app or returning to a Guest Relations or Guest Experience Team location.

Any member of a DAS party can obtain a return time for the whole party, but the Guest registered for DAS must be present and experience the attraction when the DAS return time is redeemed. DAS return times are valid until the park closes or an attraction closes for the day. A party can only hold one DAS return time at once.

What happens if any of the statements made by a Guest in the process of registering for DAS are found to be not true?

Answer

If it is determined that any of the statements a Guest made in the process of obtaining DAS are not true, the Guest will be permanently barred from entering Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort, and any previously purchased Annual Passes , Magic Key passes, tickets and other park products and services will be forfeited and not refunded.

What can Guests do during their DAS virtual wait?

Answer

Guests utilizing DAS can enjoy many other experiences throughout Walt Disney World Resort during a DAS virtual wait, such as other rides, shows, concerts, parades and Character Greetings. They can also take a rest in a break area, get something to eat or go shopping.
Most ex-DAS people hate these options because it means they don’t get to use the Lightning lane or freely fuck around while waiting for their return time. But Don’t ask them to explain why these options don’t work for them because they will usually refuse to elaborate.
Here are a few tips and techniques to manage waiting in queues:
  • Encourage other members of your party to help create space around you in line to make it more comfortable.
  • In a theme park environment that requires additional walking or standing, bring a mobility device such as a wheelchair, ECV, walker with a seat or a cane chair.
  • Bring a sensory toy or a calming item—such as a stress ball, favorite device or activity like a tablet, video game, comic book or another item that may be calming or distracting while waiting in a queue.
  • Grab a snack or drink to enjoy while waiting in a queue. Just be sure to finish it before boarding the attraction.
  • Break up your day with other offerings at the Resort that don’t require waiting in a queue, such as entertainment.
  • Don’t forget other items to keep yourself comfortable. Some items to consider bringing include sweater or jacket, sun protection or hat.
People don’t like this one because they don’t like people assuming they are cutting the line when they return and also it means you can’t take your entire party off to do other rides while waiting because people need to stay to save your spot.

Attraction Queue Re-Entry

There may be times when a Guest must briefly step out of the standby queue and then rejoin their party. Every attraction has a defined process to support this option based on a person’s disability while the rest of the party remains in the queue.
How to Use Queue Re-entry
Speak to a Cast Member at the attraction for directions on how to re-enter the queue.
  1. A Cast Member will provide details about how to exit the queue and how to navigate back to your party.
  2. While the Guest who must leave is briefly away, the rest of the party will remain in the queue.
  3. The Guest reunites with their party to experience the attraction.

Rider Switch

Rider switch is a program available to all Guests. With Rider Switch, Guests can wait with member(s) of their party who aren’t riding due to any of the reasons listed below. Once the first Guest returns the waiting Guest can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again!

Rider Switch is available for Guests who meet one of the following:
  • Does not meet the boarding requirements
  • Has a service animal that cannot board the attraction or does not want to use a provided kennel
  • Meets boarding requirement and does not want to ride but cannot wait outside queue on their own

There’s no reason for a deaf persons who’s not also a tard to use a communication device. It’s clear based on her obsessive social media use she’s sufficiently literate in English, so the obvious solution to communication with non-signers is writing notes, either on good ol paper or on their phone. No deaf adult is going to be caught dead using an AAC designed for people with developmental disabilities, even if they can’t write fluently. Deaf people have fought to be seen as non-tards for generations and this loon’s dragging herself back in.

I went to Disneyland once in 1959 as a little kid. It was pretty cool, especially the Monsanto House. I actually preferred the train ride from Salt Lake City and back though, to be honest. It was the first time I ever saw a Negro. Times were different.

That said, I find nothing appealing about the modern theme park experience. I had to go to a large non Disney theme park as an adult for a stupid team building thing and wanted it to end so I could get back to work because I had deadlines to meet. I got dragged to Universal whateverthefuck a few years later by family and found it equally unfulfilling, especially for the price.

And I'm a reasonably healthy person give or take a few preventable car wrecks in my younger, wilder years. So why are all these "medically compromised" people so obsessed with Disney parks? They're hot, crowded, noisy, expensive, uncomfortable, gang infested, and tiring. If I wanted that kind of experience I'd skip the theme park and just go straight to the ER and claim my POTS, MCAS, EDS, GERD, ED, BFD, NFG, RFN, and QWERTYUIOP are acting up can I has IV dilaudid pls.

So glad I haven’t gone to the US parks in a long time. Now I get my Disney rocks off by watching people pretend to be disabled because they want the big mouse to treat them special.
Even the non-disabled methods of going on rides at Disney parks sound like the exact opposite of fun. It's making me have flashbacks to signing up for a term's classes and having to juggle waitlisted classes.

I can't believe that these overscheduled nightmare logistics are the "magic" these adult babies are wailing about.
