So many questions with this. If the 16 yo is a family friend, why doesn't wife know him? (Is it a female or a guy, he said "passes as male" but with these dumb fucks you never know, they'd totally describe a male as male passing because they're that retarded.) Why didn't the husband talk it out with his wife before making a decision that included their children? Why doesn't he recognize why a parent does and should want to know about the types of people around their children, let alone if those people will be responsible for the kids' care to any capacity? Anything to do with her kids IS her business, why doesn't he think that? Why can't the 14 yo watch over herself and her siblings enough to take pressure off mom? (She shouldn't have big responsibility but she shouldn't need to be hovered over at her age either.) And etc.

A lot of Reddit if fanfic. But, I've witnessed too much to not know this is 100% at least something that could happen with someone these days.

Hang on, I am genuinely confused. Why do the American trannys wish to seek asylum in other countries, leaving the United States? Trump, if I remember correctly, didn't do much in the way of them trannys during his reign. So, I don't really see why they wish to seek asylum with a change in the executive branch. Can someone fill me in or is it another "dont say gay = GENOCIDE" situation?

My god. It's one thing for celebrities, who have the means and connections to actually emigrate, or simply live in another country 180 days at a time, to threaten to leave the US if Trump is elected. Zero--zero--celebrities who threaten it actually do it.

But when troons threaten to leave the country, I can't help but feel how unbelievably naive and entitled Americans can be. You can't just wander into another country and live there, you fucking moron. And I expect of countries that do have reasonable intake of migrants, you won't invest shit in learning another language and you have no valuable skills to contribute. And you absolutely will not count as a refugee.

Maybe I'm just being pedantic but the way he says "I have a family friend" and not "We have a family friend" or even like "I have a family friend who's my daughter's best friend/the kid of my childhood best friend/my longtime neighbour/whatever" or any kind of explanation of his connection to a non-blood related teenager makes me a little suspicious. He also mentions the kid can pass easily as a cis guy which makes me think Atlas is a girl so I just have to wonder why this guy is so close to a mentally ill teenage girl 20 years his junior. Maybe his wife wasn't being transphobic, maybe she was just trying to figure out if he's trying to groom this kid.

I would also like to know why he needs Atlas to babysit if his eldest is only two years younger. I feel like there's a lot of background info missing like what does the wife do? Does she work? I've seen Project 2025 being mentioned a bit lately and I have absolutely no idea what it is but it gives me the same vibe that the dooming surrounding the 2016 election gave i.e. nothing but fearmongering. Trump already served four years in office and somehow didn't send the entire LGBT community to concentration camps, why do they think that's going to happen this time?
