I'm not sure they ever will; while troons are almost all fucking unbearable frauds nobody would want to be around, the number of munchies is vastly outweighed by the number of real, actual disabled people. It often takes a bit of specialist medical knowledge to spot one and most normies won't risk hate criming the truly vulnerable to expose someone who might just as plausibly be genuinely ill but very dramatic as lying for clout.

The world will continue to rightfully condemn munchies individually when they're exposed, and to roll their eyes at tiktok 'autism' and 'tourrettes' but most people won't even realise how widespread a thing it is—and again, compared to actual disability, it's not at all widespread, really.

Troons are skinwalking real boys and gorls as a whole rather than a specific demographic, and as a society we find it easier to see disabled people as vulnerable to exploitative predators than we do 'all humans' in this way. I just don't see most people turning on the fake element of the disability community in the same way as I hope and pray they do with troonism (and I say that coming from the UK, where we had Ian Duncan Smith's nonsense and the scroungers/strivers rhetoric &c, and in current year all sorts of other dodgy political crap that seems to be basically criminalising anyone who is sick enough to genuinely need benefits or help — we've been primed to peak in this way and it still isn't happening for most people)

Speaking of seizures, let's all have a little laugh break. Who remembers Allyson? For anyone unfamiliar, she is an extremely obese 30something year old woman with "sever" mental illnesses. She fakes all the disorders, and constantly does a horrible job of it. I've worked with numerous people with actually sever epilepsy of various types over the years and none of them presented quite like that during a tonic-clonic.

I once saw a video of a middle age woman with bipolar and PNES having a nonepileptic seizure (and obviously some sort of mania component.) This shit looked like something out of a horror movie. She was arching her back and slamming herself around, flailing like a dying spider, twitching all over. Even though you could tell it was pretty clearly a hysterical/psychological thing, that was a real mental illness, this lady was actually sick and I can totally see how people with that level of mental illness would be persecuted in many cultures for being literally evil/demonic rather than being sick in the head.

In contrast, these munchies always just have PNES where they vaguely do the worm while in bed or a chair.... You can almost sense them contemplating if they've gotten enough attention.

It's true that a lot of cluster-B people come from traumatic backgrounds and maybe they act how they do because they can't cope in healthier ways. But some of these cluster-B people actually just have such a low tolerance that they have these extreme reactions.... to things that aren't that bad. And you can tell because they're so flippant. I dunno if that makes sense.

You can tell the difference between someone acting hysterical and having a fit over having witnessed their parents be shot in front of them, and someone acting hysterical and having a BPD fit because they think their boyfriend might break up with them because they aren't pretty enough. "Everything is valid" culture is just straight wrong. These two people have different things and they should be treated differently.

It's like the difference between an anorexic who legitamately is drowning in self-hating self-talk and anxiety, and a "wannarexic" who actually struggles to have enough willpower to lower her weight enough to convince people she's "really sick."

The person having a wiggle-worm tantrum in their recliner doesn't have the same type of psychogenic illness as the insane person breaking their bones by flailing around on the concrete.

Psychogenic illness itself is kinda another easy-to-game diagnosis. The munchies obviously take it as a boobie prize when they can't get diagnosed with real seizures, but I don't even think half of them actually have these psychogenic illnesses. Some of them do sure. But you often see them have fits to get medical attention, and after it's diagnosed as PNES, they seemingly stop having fits/move on to a new medical issue. If you actually had a psychogenic mental illness I don't think it just stops when you decide to start trying to get diagnosed with MCAS instead.

She recently got out of a long stint in a state psych hospital (late February - early May). Interestingly, we haven't seen an ng tube since February; maybe she's too focused on a different part of her terrible larp?
