Black, blue or green lipstick looks terrible on nearly everyone. It's just that female mall goths figure that out when they're 14, and passing a young teen in ghastly lipstick makes you think "aw, I remember Phases."
Magical-thinking makeup like that on a bald Sasquatch is a visible warning sign: something isn't working right in this huge person's huge head. Best not to make eye contact or get within engagement radius.

Agreed. I did know one person who could pull it off, but it goes back to the theory of everyone having a "seasonal" color pallete that looks good with their unique coloring.
If you're a winter (think Snow White; black hair, pale white/dark black skin, blue eyes) then those colors will look good on you. At least as good as they'll look on anyone. Winter's pallette is all about jewel tones, crisp icy and cool colors. They are the only season that can pull off true white and black.
Most people are not winters. Which means most people who wear those lipsticks look terrible in them. Same with red lipstick, every season has a red that works for them, but most of them can't pull off true primary red.

They realllyyy thought they could just get away with this, huh. Oh sure, it worked plenty of times in the past with the whole anti-fat in food nonsense and oxycotin and all that. But then they started getting too cocky.
Who knows, they might get away with it. however I am doubtful. Everyones who lives are currently ruined has not even lived long enough to see the true extent of what has happened and how deadly all of this is. A lot are still currently invested in the troon cult too. Sure, hundreds already deal with the damage (hence why they're backpedaling) but not enough are truly aware the immense causality of it all. Most victims are currently between the ages 10-35. The older troons who decided to transition decided when they were already past that age for the most part, and even then they have not been taking HRT long enough to see the whole impact. Yes, a lot still deal with the side effects. But it's moreso like smoking and obesity. Yeah sure you'll deal with minor consequences you can brush off and maybe an unlucky amount will immediately succumb to the full harsh reality of what this lifestyle can do, but it doesn't take until at least over 10-20 years to really see the negative ramifications what you are doing to yourself and by that point it's already too late for most people.
All this to say though, Big Pharma (+ the government) still never gotten in any trouble for the obesity and opiod epidemic despite causing both to manifest. One could argue Big Food is responsible for the obesity epidemic, but without the medical indrustry purposely putting out the food guidelines obesity would've been a way less bigger issue. It was not an accident. It was not a "whoopsie, we put out the wrong information". It was intentional. Same with Opiods. There was no "we didn't know". They did know, and they wanted to benefit from unleasing a sickness. They need you to believe that lie of "oh, we had good intentions and just wanted to help people" because it's the only thing keeping people from flipping their shit and revolting.
Need not to remind you, Big Pharma is the most evil industry imaginable. So the fact troons will outright defend their drugs on behalf of BP while claiming to be counter-culture rebels will never not be bewildering. Really makes you think about what must be going through a troon's head to not find it weird that the president of the united states himself talks about the need to "protect trans kids". Like I just don't get it. The ESG guidelines, all the mainstream push, everything vs the claim their community makes regarding them "being oppressed" and "trans genocide". Hell, Fat Activists have more of an argument regarding their potential oppression status than troons. I know it's a cult but still. I'll always be amazed by their delusions.

- Homemade troonshine sold on DIYHRT sites is not the same as what you get from a doctor, because the medicine my doctor prescribes me does not have cat hair in it, isn't mysteriously cloudy, or is made in a sketchy place in Brazil.
- This post is definitely telling kids to jump on the troonshine bandwagon as early as possible.

DISCLAIMER: It is against this sub's rules to tell you how to source DIY, so I'm not doing that, just discussing a possible change in attitude.
DIY HRT is exactly the same hormones as you'd get from a doctor, except you don't need to deal with a 3+-year-long waiting list if in Europe/US, and in the global south/third world it can be the only option. Also, you can do your own blood tests for $50-150, so you'd actually get the same exact level of care as at informed consent, except without an imposed very slow "ramp up" that takes years, and without certain doctors that refuse to give out injections or prog, or lie about blood tests to convince patients to stay on low doses like 50mg spironolactone without ever checking.
So many trans kids and their parents can't use puberty blockers because Lupron can come out to $6000/year; that was the case for me, and it meant I wasn't able to prevent most of male puberty, even though there were much cheaper options. If I had known about DIY at 14 instead of going on a 4-year waiting list, I would pass right now, and I've heard a lot of similar stories. I'm certainly lucky I started now, just as a 30-year-old is lucky they didn't start at 50 and a 50-year-old is lucky they didn't start at 70, but actually preventing the permanent changes from puberty is a big deal!
It is definitely a different process for everyone, and a successful transition can start at any age, but for a lot of people, even 2 years of puberty can be the difference between passing without/with makeup, without/with FFS, without/with laser, etc. While passing is not the main goal for some, for most it is an important part of being safe both mentally and physically as a trans woman/transfem.
When the price of HRT can be as low as one $8 injection per month or €1 every 10 days to get both levels to that of a cis woman, it breaks so many class barriers that would otherwise be imposed on people who can't afford expensive prescriptions.
Now, seeing the UK and possibly other countries like Norway ban all puberty blockers for those under-18, we need to acknowledge that DIY is the only option available to many, and demonizing it means that vulnerable people won't be able to get care they might otherwise need. Of course, transphobes would have a field day with "they're telling minors to take drugs and mutilate themselves", so try and keep your support for DIY mostly in trans-only spaces, but DIY is safe, effective, affordable, and necessary, where the "right" way so often isn't, and when every single comment on a post is telling a user that DIY will probably kill them, this is the same exact medical misinformation spread by transphobes about all HRT.

After I figured myself out I started DIYing immediately. I had already wasted so much time questioning myself. Wasn’t worth waiting even longer. I spent a few weeks learning about dosing and my different options, then took the plunge. After my a few months I got a doctors appointment, informed my GP that I was DIYing and needed a blood test. She got me a blood test (levels were a little low and I upped my dosage), and set me up with an appointment with an endocrinologist. In August I have my first appointment and am hoping to expedite my process to getting a prescription.
I don’t understand the stigma around DIY in our community, it’s a safe process so long as you do your research properly. Start with a dose less than what you think you need and build up after being informed by your first blood test results. Mostly importantly, talk to your doctor about it. They may ask you to stop, but that doesn’t mean you have too. It’s my body at the end of the day, I’ll biohack it how I please.

That’s a really Interesting point. I think it’s also a matter of: most people had to take a billion tests and do a million things to get HRT “safely”. As such, it’s unthinkable to many that you can just get HRT like that assuming ur liver is in working order (and a few other contraindications)

I proudly self-medicate my HRT. (I.e. DIY, self medicate has more accurate connotations, I prefer self medicate over DIY)
Self medication saved my life, it has saved an untold number of lives, and it will continue to do so for as long as humans live

I’ll also add, Self medication is INFINITELY cheaper than “legitimate HRT”, since you aren’t paying the doctor tax. I personally spent a mere 150 USD on a 6 year supply for example. You’d be lucky to get 6 MONTHS of HRT with that money “legitimately”.
As such, it makes HRT affordable to everyone, not just rich privileged people who forget their privilege

It’s heartbreaking, we as a community collectively tell our children to simply endure, even in the face of awful awful suicide, and lifelong, AVOIDABLE dysphoria
We need to take things into our own hands, queer rights never got where they are today from us following the rules!!! Doing what we’re told!!!
