The improvements to Minecraft make you think and challenge yourself, Dobson. Y'know, like a video game.

Jesus Christ. Just play in peaceful or creative mode, you incompetent fuck. Or, better yet, stop playing video games in general. Really, just stop doing things altogether. All you do is whine.
 
Y'know, I agree that the whole "forcing you to eat" mechanic was not what I wanted out of Minecraft. I liked the difficulty aspects it had early on with trying to find resources and fight monsters without having to stop every couple of minutes to feed myself. But I accepted that's the direction it was going long ago... Notch was always on the path of "difficulty=good game" and the devs that are working on it now have continued with that philosophy of trying to turn it into 3D Dwarf Fortress or whatever.

But it's also obvious they've done a lot of tweaking to make it easier in other aspects along with the added difficulty. Dobson's whining about how difficult it is when he's building a clay hut and finding free stuff (with an air of "FINALLY") on day one. When the game started you could very easily find yourself digging a hole in the ground and filling it in after you to keep the monsters out, and there sure as fuck weren't any already set up minecarts and other shit. He's so fucking spoiled.
 
I think the fun of playing Minecraft does not come from posting everything you do in the first ten minutes to your blog.

I'm not sure what he's complaining about, actually. He was obviously close enough to a source of wood and was lucky enough to spawn right next to an exposed mine shaft. Might be better if you figure it out instead of ranting, Dobby

He's been playing it for longer than that on his crappy ass Mac, he's had videos of himself playing with other people long ago.

However, I wouldn't even say that, he recorded that vlog playing the mobile version so he's still a liar.
