Sean and Nate have been great from the get-go in covering this, a nice surprise.
Kurt needed to fight through the autistic loyalty he showed for the man he thought was his friend, but he seems to be coming around to the facts.
Legal Mindset/Andrew also seems to have come around. This dude is a weird one to me, he seems alright for the most part, but then he did all those streams with Drexel and went full in on the MGTOW/PUA shit and that's a level of cringe it's hard to come back from. Anyone know if he still does those?

He could've spent less for a little "vacation" in a hospital wing to get clean.

He's eventually going to pay to get clean one way or another (unless he dies first), but the cost will only go up from here.
The problem is Nick is an addict, there's no two ways about it. When you get to the point where you are neglecting your primary responsibilities to get drunk and snort coke, the disease has already progressed far beyond what is easily manageable.

Addicts are great at lying to themselves, Nick still believes it is possible to keep using. Once he realises that's a non-starter he will be able to recover - we aren't yet there.

"Viva and Barnes are doing to Nick what Nick did to Mignogna." - LM

Ouch!

That's actually a sobering thought. Unlike Nick, I don't think Vic was guilty, but I do see what Andrew is saying from the POV that the two of them are almost certainly grifting and influencing Nick.

There has been no notice filed by any attorney that she is being represented. Her having conditional bond means that there's only enough money for one of them to go out doing blow and it's not going to be Kayla.
I guess Nick said something like "I need to be out to manage and fix everything" and Kayle is literally too retarded to do shit, but do they really not have 100K? not even Kayla's family, the trustfund money, Rekieta's own money?

Are they still living together or were they told to stay apart?

There's been so much info over the last week I'm starting to get confused.
They're married. So there is no order to refrain from contact even though they are co-defendants.

That doesn't mean that they're living together. I assume they are, but it's a possibility that she's left and her side of the family doesn't have $5k hanging around in order to post unconditional bail.

There's a lot we don't know.

Just to clarify for everybody about how bail bonds work.

If you post a bond, you pay 10% of the bail to the bondsman. That is his fee. You don't get that back. You also do a financial disclosure to show that you or someone who is willing to go surety for you has assets totaling the amount of the bail. If you don't show up and the bail is revoked, the bondsman loses the money he deposited with the court and comes after you or your surety.

Here, Balldo paid $5,000 to Absolute Bail Bonds. That money is the fee for the bond and is gone; he doesn't get that back. He also had to pledge some asset--most likely his house to secure the $50,000 ABB put up. If his bail is revoked, ABB loses the $50,000 they put up and comes after Balldo for it.

iirc it is unconstitutional for the courts to tell a married couple they can't have contact with each other. married couples enjoy special privileges that no other association enjoys, which is why a lot of legal requirements (like for certain company formations) explicitly do not count spouses towards employee numbers, etc.

Fun and games.

They are married. The court cannot order them separated without either consent from one of them or some sort of legal reason why their marriage is unlawful. I.e, they are actually brother and sister.

Marriage is more then just upgraded boyfriend/girlfriend with tax benefits. They are legally the same person in some respects. One cannot be compelled to testify against the other for example, as what a wife and husband say to each other is privileged. Among other numerous and complicated things.

Rekieta become a junkie.png
The nerve some people have, damn.

What does this even mean? Evidence is being turned into the sheriff about why the police arrested someone? I'm so confused what he means and what criminal liability is being alleged here.
If that's the something new, he doesn't have any worries. Chats? From a group chat? From a third party with her panties in a twist? Yeah, that ought to do it. 🙄

Given that his primary residence is owned by a trust the security will most likely be his second home, which reports have said is now no longer being rented by that couple he was helping out.

Unironically, a question about the conditional release. If a person is a severe alcoholic or addict, he cannot just suddenly stop consuming, or he will risk death or serious health problems. Does nobody think about it and the attitude is "suffah for being an addict"?
Nick easily could’ve had his attorney negotiate something with the DA’s office to get him into rehab if we was actually serious. They hate wasting time with drug crimes and would like a situation where they can make a deal and not have to expose the public to Nick’s degenerate sex life.

Doing some thinking, they should have $100,000 in equity in the house(s) to cover the security for both bonds. The barrier is either getting $10,000 in cash to pay the bondsman's fee or Balldo being a complete asshole and not being willing to put up $5,000 to bail out Our Wife.

But even if the barrier is just not having enough cash on hand, what kind of asshole bonds himself out before his wife? Oh, that's right. We're talking about Balldo here. A puckering, yet withered and dry asshole.
