You have to have a good faith reason to challenge a search or arrest warrant. The legal system assumes a lot of good faith from all parties, but you can lose that presumption very fast.

A lawyers duty is to provide the best defense they can for their client. Given Nick's charges and the evidence against him I think the kitchen sink approach of challenging anything and everything is probably his best bet.
