I think it’s more about ideological compliance than anything else. The cult of troon isnt that concerned with the reality of “passing” (which rarely happens, if ever) but they are concerned with enforcing their version of morality on the masses. They think that their ideology is superior for separating physical reality from expectation. Only women/girls have periods - that is reality and what most people expect. But gender ideologues want menstruation completely separated from women, so that there is no expectation of woman/female to go with the concept of a period.
