Hate to derail with more theology sperging but man people really have a twisted idea of what it means to love and have the backs of sinners. It doesn't mean you just tolerate it, you have to call the behavior out, out of love for the sinner and hate of the destruction the sin is bringing upon the sinner and his loved ones.

Someone brought up Penn Gillette was adored by Nu-Atheists and Atheism+ for some reason. • Claiming Nick isn't the most evil thing in the world is a poor defense and is a manipulative comparison to make.
• Defending someone's "humanity" isn't the same as defending them from legitimate criticism.

I think this was the bit I saw.

Gosney almost seemed like he was trolling Rekieta by pressing him as to the difference between his scheduling complaints and whining. This prompted a really solid whine session that Gosney was unable to interrupt, once Nick gets started he's on a roll!

This one seemed super DSP-esque, more than usual. I'm not sure if the mannerisms are the same or whether his voice is changing to sound more like DSP but it was uncanny.

Gosney's advice to stop explaining his cancellations is also garbage. We see from the Locals logs that the people who are actually pissed about the cancellations are his remaining fans. He does about three shows a week at best these days, which means he cancels 40% of shows. It will be funny to see him never bother posting the video to Locals talking about why he hasn't been on Locals though.

A lot of people belong to a church for reasons other than its theology. Once you're out of school your social options get limited. For single people a church lets them find potential dates. For married people a church offers a chance for them to befriend other married couples. For people with kids churches offer child care and schooling plus other children to make friends with. Churches also work like rotary clubs for career networking or finding service professionals like car mechanics or contractors.

In my experience, most people care more about the social aspects of church than it's theology.

Yeah I could have sworn these books was brought up several weeks ago. I don't think it's an april's fools thing.

Also I don't think gosney has an excuse. Even if he doesn't keep up with what Nick's up to, he has:

-Nick going from looking normal to looking like a gollum
-Nick having a massive audience to just having 1k live viewer
-Nick's current behavior

If gosney only saw nick 1 year ago and then today, all of these 3 should have set off alarms loud enough for him to pull nick to the side and ask what the fuck is up.
