Every kind of church I've been to has taught the answer to that, usually by quoting Romans 6. It's not exactly deep lore or very hard to understand, even some 8 year old children can explain it.1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Part of that has to be the time change with no advertising beforehand. I don't think he even mentioned it on his easter stream. Nick seems to not understand the PR team he used to have doesn't exist anymore and posting it on his dead twitter and deader locals isn't cutting it. He has a 158k followers and that is the interaction he gets.

Lmao imagine having Stockolm syndrome toward your voluntary source of entertainment. It costs nothing to stop watching him because his content has become unwatchable. In fact, for his donors (all $60 worth?), it's a financial gain. It can't even be some kind of sunk costs nonsense because most people move on from a source of entertainment eventually, nobody considers it an investment.

At this point I think it might be better for Nic’s kids if they all just drop the charade and let Drex move in to be their new Dad. Say what you will about him but at least he’s a strong, masculine, male role model who isn’t perpetually drunk.

Previous to his involvement with Nick, his biggest moment on the farms was in 2022 when he was described as "clout chasing" DSP. His show was seen as something like a worse version of Revenge of the Cis. IMO, he was never attached to any other topic long enough to get the attention that would have led to him getting a thread.
But Steel Toe swinging with Nick has raised him up to a whole new level. Its his time now. He is more than thread worthy at this point.

I think the big issue with Nick’s comedy isn’t just that it’s Chris Chan style random access humor, but that he has no concept of delivery. He comes across more as a schitzo rambling on to himself rather than someone trying to insert a joke.
the fact that he rambled this out without even stopping to take a breath made him look like an insane man talking to himself rather than someone doing a bit. Even Crowder, who can’t be funny if his life depended on it, still knows how to attempt a line delivery in a way that the audience can tell is supposed to be a joke.
I thought YouTube atheists were cringe back when they were in style, I even thought Penn and Teller were cringe. I remember being 10 when their Bullshit show came out and already thinking they were lame despite being atheist even back then.
The problem with militant atheists is that they always had a big pompous “we’re smart, you’re stupid” quality to them, and they always seemed like the way wanted nothing more in life then to get into a debate with a Christian. Add that with the often disingenuous hyper literal Bible interpretations that they knew literally no demonination followed, or Richard Dawkins with his retarded “atheist are the most prosecuted group in America” victim playing and it put a sour taste in my mouth.
But on the flipped side. The constant preaching didn’t help Christians, and it’s frankly annoying to see all these right wing grifters Like Nick, Crowder, Dave Rubin, Ralph, Fuentes etc going all ham on the Bible thumping. I’ve always felt the right’s biggest issue is that they’ve never not sold conservatives without Christianity, which was why so many atheists felt obligated to go left.
Penn Jillette was the closest to a conservative atheist and he was a full blown lefty in disguise with his whole “gays and atheists belong together” crap from 2010 which helped start the atheism+
All of that is why frankly I don’t tell people about my religious beliefs. The whole concept has been tainted even worse than picking a political side.
