The whole time, all four of them, but Nick and swingerhusband especially. It’s just all so corny and forced, the way they are saying things reminds me of those shirts you’d see at Walmart in 2009, the ones that say “FLUENT IN SARCASM” or “I PAUSED MY GAME FOR THIS”.

The shit the other guy says and the shit Nick says, all in poor attempts to be “funny” just calls back to the point about Vito the Pedo. Agree about the humor. I'm a younger millennial and I remember Hot Topic humor (happy bunny, Invader Zim, similar) being prominent in the early 2000s. That style of humor was rebooted in the late 2000s/early 2010s with Marvel/Valve/Reddit humor. Both of them feel cringey in retrospect. Many who've continued to be part of online culture since then have evolved in their sense of humor. Social media invites mass participation and creation of new humor.

Nick's stagnant humor is terribly annoying, it feels like the humor of a teen girl from 15 years ago. His age doesn't excuse it, not all people in their 30s and 40s are that way online but I have oddly noticed that those who are like that tend to be gay men with narc tendencies.
