I dunno, I think the fact that this thread is nearly at 2900 pages with a very large number of regular posters, and Pat got 3rd place 2 years in a row for Lolcow of the Year, shows that there's a broad appeal. Yes, it's more lore-based than some other lolcows, but there's plenty of other big lolcows you can't truly appreciate without doing a deep dive.
