Presidents do have immunity for acts within their office. And unlike what Fatty oinked, it isn't "qualified" immunity. It's ABSOLUTE immunity.

Qualified Immunity is a gay concept that is only necessary because the American legal system is fucked that you can't expect random cops to fully understand and memorize all the legal ramifications of 300 different precedent cases, a third of which seem to have contradictory rulings. If burgers had a reasonable legal codex, qualified immunity wouldn't be needed, and cops who broke any laws that were all clearly stated in a 5 page pamphlet would have the book thrown at them. But alas, something about Anglo-Saxon principles of freedom, so you must study the opinions of multiple legal scholars on Butthole v. United States to understand if you're allowed to force a suspect out of a car for a traffic violation.

It's shocking Pat doesn't get the difference. You can still get a cop for something he did on duty, it's just HARD. A president? If they weren't immune from what they did in office, ALL of them would be in jail for some random airstrike that killed one civilian, even if it was absolutely justified.

Something that simple couldn't possibly conceive of every single possible situation such that every cop would know every single one of the millions of unique situations that can arise. The Constitution is simple. It provides a prohibition against "unreasonable" searches. What are those, though? There are always going to be edge cases, and in the most litigious country on the planet and perhaps in all of history, if cops could be sued all the time about everything, nobody in their right mind would be a cop. Arguably, even with qualified immunity we're already there thanks to woke stupidity and Saint George of Fentanyl.

I think the ship that hit it was an older Panamax which maximum DWT is around 56k far far below Patrick's 150k claim, but it would still do damage to a bridge. You'd think he'd know something about container ships given that he has to take a Triple E class ship whenever he goes traveling.

I'm divided on this one. On one hand I don't want trannies ruining another thing I like, on the other hand patposting is so minor of a thing to enjoy and getting EVERY troon to patpost would at least make their arguments funnier to look at. Also it would put Pat in a situation. Should he badmouth the trannies he loves so much for mocking him or stay quiet and seethe?
