Not necessarily. Kids are into manga in a huge way. If you go to places like Barnes and Noble, there are racks and racks of manga. Mainstream Western comics have been taken over by insane, far-left cultists who just want to use them as propaganda to preach their woke gospel. No kid wants to buy some political sermon with absolute shit art.
You could conceivably crowdfund comics that would appeal to kids the way manga appeals to them. The problem is that CG is full of fuck-up artists who don't hit deadlines, and who for the most part aren't trying very hard to innovate and find the kinds of characters that are going to hit with kids.

I think the modern American comic book industry problem is very complex and hard to fix.
Kids would still buy American comics if they had quality and weren't so overpriced. I was traveling last year and in multiple airports, I tried to buy some comics but they were all damn expensive (and I can have their digital versions for free).
Then there's the lack of quality... Most guys want to buy a book where the main character cuts the bad guys' heads off. We'll have a hard time finding a modern comic book with that.
Fortunately, there's Manga. Teenagers all over the world are buying manga... a lot of manga. Manga is much more popular now than before. I was the only guy in my whole high school reading manga in the early 2000s (Europe). Now there are thousands of kids reading manga everywhere.
It's easy to find the genre you like in manga. The same can't be said about American comics. And then you have guys like the retards in CG telling you: "You can find everything you want here in CG!", but that's a lie since so far, they just "launch" garbage overpriced 30 pages late books (a couple of rare exceptions).
One "solution" is just to stop buying modern american comics, like me. I just buy old DC issues (especially late 90s).
Or just buy Manga and European Comics. I heard about some very cool French and Dutch comics (Middle Earth style).

I disagree. The CCA was in place throughout the majority of the lifetime of comics, from 1954 to 2011. Marvel abandoned it in 2001, and DC abandoned it in 2011. Neither company had been abiding by it for years at that point anyway. Think about the last time you actually saw a CCA logo on a comic.
The fact is comics enjoyed their greatest popularity during the reign of the CCA. I would actually argue that abandoning it may have done more damage to comics than the code itself ever did because suddenly comics weren't for kids anymore. They were full of graphic depictions of violence and gore and adult themes. And a lot of people didn't want to buy them for their kids anymore because of it. And it wasn't just shit like Watchmen, it was every comic. Suddenly Batman, Spider-Man, all of your favorite childhood heroes had to be made grim and edgy.
Other than times of war kids have always been the driving force behind comic sales. And I think the modern era of comics forgot that. Not to mention the constant hamfisted political/ideological shit starting with the X-Men becoming the world's worst allegory for muh civil rights which the modern comic pros have gone absolutely bugfuck insane with.

You're right about kids not buying magazines, I'm just not so sure kids have been the target demo of American comics for at least 15 years.
The price is most certainly a factor, but there's also the confusing storytelling methods endemic to American superhero comics. If a reader is interested in a certain character, they might find that the character has three different series and crosses over with other series that are in the middle of a year long storyline. There may even be different versions of the same character running around at the same time. Then there are the reboots designed to keep 80 year old characters relevant for an ever shrinking audience, while further confusing the lore for the ever elusive "new readers" companies always chase but never seem to capture.
American superhero comics are created, marketed, and sold in a way that almost guarantees their audience will remain a tiny niche in the entertainment space.
While it's true that kids have been the driving force behind comics sales for most of their history, they haven't been the main audience for quite a while. We're talking about $5-6 floppies only sold in special stores that may not even exist in many places. Kids with $10 or $20 in pocket money are probably not very likely to try and find the secret clubhouse of middle aged MTG players (that happens to sell comics) so they can run in and spend their allowance on two pamphlets. A kid can get a lot more value for that money in almost every other form of entertainment.
Kids were the driving force behind comics when they were available in pharmacies, gas stations, and grocery stores, cost around $1, and Spider-Man was still suitable reading for the average 12 year old.
These are pics I took at a Barnes and Noble a couple of weeks ago.
This first pic is their manga section. Every book you see in this photo (except the YA display in front of the column) is manga.
And tucked behind the manga area is their Graphic Novel/Comics section...
Most of the pink spines you see on the shelf aren't comics for girls, but sun bleached from sitting in front of the window.

The last Barnes and Noble I was in had an even worse western comics section. Looks like yours is three shelves full and organized with written recommendations. The one I was in I think had two shelves sparse and disorganized, backed by absolutely packed 2 shelves of manga and another full aisle of manga besides that.
You're right about that because nobody in the USA is buying magazines compared to the past. The section of average regular magazines in the drug store and supermarket is microscopic now and the price of regular junk magazines is $10+. They don't have them in waiting rooms anymore either. People are looking at articles on their phones. Comic collectors are going to be the last people buying them. I like print media I'm not against it, it's important for archiving, but it is a thing of the past.

What possibilities are open to a renowned Comic Book Pro running a million-dollar business such as EVS at the beginning of such a beautiful weekend?
Perhaps doing some overtime on those late books?
How about some father-and-son bonding over a nice diner breakfast?
Maybe even head out for a day with his much neglected wife and autistic daughter?
No. No, after spending between 5-7 hours every night of the last week streaming/appearing on streams, EVS is opting to spend his Saturday morning, streaming in virtual silence with Camelcast and two other dickwads listening to the latest Trump address.
I’m normally pretty unforgiving when it comes to extra-marital affairs, but in this case I sincerely hope Andrea is getting her insides re-arranged on a frequent basis by her pilates instructor.

The funny thing about this is all these past years where EVS would speak about YouTubers with utter disdain, like what they did was only for the scum of the earth. He was an Artisté of Mainstream Comics while YouTubers were just clowns and zeros to him. And now, suddenly, after years of mocking YouTubers, EVS has embraced YouTuber status. And he'll pretend like he hasn't completely flipped and contradicted himself like the eternal hypocrite that he is.

That paint scheme won't exist on the track since it would cost several hundred thousand to sponsor the whole car (unless it's the minor-league ARCA or xfinity race a couple days before the primary NASCAR Geico 500). It'll be a sticker among a dozen others. The scam will undoubtedly involve EVS paying himself 5-figures to draw that sticker though.
You too can get a 2"x6" logo sticker on a car at Talledega in April for $1,000 here with pretty neat sponsor access for the race:

I think Rekieta or some other cow organized a similar ARCA sponsorship last year and the cars all immediately crashed out of the race.
I'm a little surprised Indiegogo is still letting him start new campaigns with all the unfulfilled projects he has.

In fact, he mentioned ARCA in the tweet where he announced he'd be working on a sponsorship with EVS. See here.

Fun fact: This race is supposed to be held on April 20th. That's Hitler's birthday, but also the anniversaries of the Columbine school shooting, the shoot down of KAL007, and the Deepwater Horizon blowing the fuck up. Seems like a good day for a disaster.
