However, I've never met a dirt poor server like that, maybe broke after expenses (drugs) but everyone I know who have had tipped service jobs made decent money for the job.

That $0,20 that Jackie was concerned about? “Opportunity employee" means an employee who is not yet 20 years old, during the first 90 consecutive days after the employee is initially employed by the employer.

Jackie was right there in the pockets of the under 18 year old.

Worth pointing out that, given it's a floor, there could be tipped staff earning more than minimum wage before tips. It depends on the labor market and what both sides agreed the pay should be.

@Null - I know you're up to you neck in other shit, I'm just putting this here as I'm not sure if you have anywhere to submit suggestons for it but - if you ever get around to working on Sneedforo forum software properly with people it would be really helpful if there was a thread by thread media compiler/display/aggregator that could help users find/track posted media/videos/archives for reference in future.
It could be really helpful when updating OPs or checking cow's bullshit
