So has Nick never confirmed why he took the GiveSendGo down? I wasn't as active in the thread when the Monty stuff was really getting going, so I was about to ask why he pulled it.
Does GiveSendGo work like Kickstarter where you need to get at least the requested amount to get the money?
AFAIK, no.
Which is kinda funny in itself because Nick
claimed that he didn't want to do any crowdfunding at all, but his fans strong-armed him into it.
And yet, seemingly none of these people he claims were eager to throw money at him have asked where it went.

I never bothered to look becuase it would probably be some lame excuse or ignored entirely. That said, if anyone wants to dig, I can provide the relevant logs if someone can remember me when he took it down.
Nick did a LOCALS stream:
- Muck like the other he did in recent memory, he started talking before the stream went live, so he opens mid complaint about how 'long' the week was for him in contrast to the 'short' week of 2 streams it was for his audience.
- The problem he had was in his family and was medical, and not a big deal. It was one of those things that needed monitoring to prove it was not serious for 24 hours. Something could still technically happen with it. He is vague intentionally becuase people don't have to know everything.
Later they asked outright what it was, and he said he cannot say.
Later, he said it was a potential issue that required him to be up one night, took the next off, then up the third to monitor someone. He gave an excuse about his voice the one night to cancel, but it was really the medical issue he didn't want to talk about becuaee people on line over-analyse.
- He will try to do a weekend show, but he has family plans. There is someone in his family going into surgery and they are havign a family gathering. Nick thinks it is weird becuase it assumes they are going to die.
- Nick feels bad about missing Joe's 24 hour stream ans Nina's birthday. He also missed Anna TSWG wedding becuase they didn't have anyone to watch the children. He feels bad. The time of the flight was early and they couldn't get 1 more day of childcare to cover it.
- Nick is still trying to change the time alot of the night show. (It was a one sentence mention.)
- He was asked about thr new Eric July drama and what was going on. They wanted Nick to explain because they didn't want to visit the Farms. Nick had no idea and he doesn't care about comics. He thinks the schadenfreude is funny (For Eric or Marvel?). Any negative criticism in comics is taken as an attack, so he wants to stay out.
- He was talking about YT copyright strikes in general being 50k USD and being a terrible system. At 2-3 minutes in, he mentions clips of paywalled LOCALS as an example, and how they would probably be ruled as Fair-Use by YT, so why sue and be out the money or time? LOCALS streams do not make that much money, too.
- Nick's throat has been bad for a while because he has been interacting with more people on errands and shouting with people. (It was a garbled sentence structure, so I don't know if these were related) This makes him unable to go on people's shows because it requires extra time to guest, and he is running around on errands. It also takes a bunch of time tk schedule with people.
- Nick is blaming his age for being tired and cancelling shows. 2 hours sleep is not enough. He is also busier and his schedule has changed.
