Unpopular Opinion About Everything - Rant about your controversial opinion on whatever. This is not Reddit, pineapple on pizza is not deep or funny.

I'm more of an empiricism guy. You can run into problems basing arguments or ideals purely on life experiences, but generally speaking, I think it does people a lot better in the long run than looking at life like a series of graphs and studies.
I could actually empathize with some dangerhair if they recounted being assaulted or underpaid in their life much more over them citing a college study pointing to their issues.
Also experiences aren't usually a vacuum, hence why you can have various works of media and art that overwhelmingly large sections of the populace feels represents them or recounting your life in a video, comment or post can get thousands to millions of positive reactions.

People who think humans should prioritize logic over emotions are bound to fail at every single aspect of life, or at best/worst work their way into a position of power where they make life significantly worse for others.
Humans are nuanced (sometimes) and the human condition is universal across every time and ethnicity. Even when it seems more convenient to do so, humans are not numbers and going through life thinking as such can really fuck you up.
There's a time to be logical, analytical and cover all the bases before you make a decision. And then there's times (most of the time), where you need to trust your instincts bred over hundreds of thousands of years.

TL;DR: Don't be a real-life redditor.

See, here's where people run into problems with me. I prioritize logic, but only because I'm trying to de-escalate most situations where people tend to let their emotions run wild.

Bear in mind, I'm not someone seeking power, and I don't even consider myself a failure.

I realize that thanks to South Park, we've stigmatized the concept of "just asking questions", and I'm well aware of how fear can drive people into wanting their own security bankies through which possible even if incorrect logic is impenetrable, but I also think that people who can't stand anyone who would pop their emotional ballon (even upon reflection) are also failures at life.

I suppose we're discussing different situations. I just felt like chiming in because I'm that kind of asshole.

I don't mind when the site is slow because it reminds me to log off and go outside

Women in their early 30s to mid 40s are more attractive than younger women
I have to say, majority of the 30s to early 50s women thend to be the most gorgeous of them all, while the youngers, in the past there was a good amount, but nowadays, its rare, well, there a good amount of 50s and beyound that still being pretty, not as much as the "middle aged" ones, but on par, a good exemple that for women, beauty don't vanish with age;

Since we are talking about it, people nowadays talk so much about "The Wall", for a big majority of women, it will never happen, while for men... men age poorly after his early 20s
This. When I was in my 20s I LOVED women in their late 30s-early 40s.
Sure younger women are hot and have tighter bodies, but older women have a confidence that's really attractive.
And this is for women who take care of themselves and not plastic bimbos, those are gross.
The cutoff age to me that separates hot couger/milf from gross old woman is mid 50s.
I'd still bang the shit out of Ming Na, and she's 60.
Let me guess, you want some Mommy Dom to take care of you. Sigmund Freud was right than I thought.

Eastern History is more interesting than Western History
Eastern history, not just Chinese as the memes go, is just "Ching Chong Chang took power; 14 million peasants died. A canal was dug from the Kekeke river; 7 million peasants died. Suddenly: Genghis Khan; infinity peasants died".

The real question is how many were eaten?

Can people stop using the acronym DEI and instead switch to DIE, like come on it's an acronym that actually makes it sound like the evil it is and people piss it away. Also Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity flows so much better than Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

I remember it was originally "Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity", but then they realized the acronym was DIE when people pointed it out, so they switched it.

People who hold far left opinions or liberal beliefs are usually awful human beings who will literally screw you out of money and f*** you over for pennies on the dollar

I've never had anybody who holds far right beliefs trying to screw me out of money or try and mess my life up for some creepy little psychotic game that they were playing

Boomerate is usually not justified most Boomers did not make it rich or have easy lives you don't know anything about those people

The some true to the ideas of lived experiences a lot of people make judgments upon other people's lives without knowing anything about that person

95% of the people who talk about politics professionally on the internet really don't know what they're talking about at all

During COVID, most of the people I knew leaned left. Not all.

I expressed very strong opinions about restrictions, masks, and mandates. Not even scientific merits of these things, but the societal implications of their implementation. For the record: my stance is, engage in retardation if you like, but don't demand my responsibility, because I shouldn't have to engage in societal codependency if you've suddenly developed boundary issues.

It was the left-leaning people I knew that would scold me for "not getting vaccinated", even though my stance was "even if I get vaccinated, you will never know because it's nobody else's business". And no, I'm not telling anyone on this website either.

As for the right-leaning people? They were the first to message me and make sure I was hanging in there when I said I was lonely because COVID sucked for people like me.

Many left-leaning folks in the earliest days of COVID fell right in line with the restrictions, quick to arrogantly wave their "empathy" flag and brandishing the phrase "it's not all about you", neglecting the notion that it's not all about them, either.

I was already charging like hell away from the left before COVID. When they started claiming they were the party of empathy, I was screaming "yeah, my entire ass" at everyone I knew who would listen at the top of my lungs. I never insulted anyone (at least in any reasonable respect; you'd think I'd collectively insulted their mothers for what I was saying. It was all cry-bullying), I simply said: here's what happens when you do this and history will bear me out.

I have never received apologies for all of the shit I took for telling people to calm down and think about how things will shake out. I am certain I never will.

Well apparently I'm alone in thinking metal drinkware, including metal straws, makes water taste weird. (RE: Consoomer thread) 🤷‍♀️
Someone gave me one of those metal drinkware things once and I used it maybe twice? You're right about it making water taste weird. I ended up throwing it out after it sat next to my sink, unused, for over six months.
