There's about a million ways you can make hard boiled eggs. In a pinch you can "hard boil" them in a toaster oven. My preferred method is to insert them in a pot of boiling water and vinegar. Leave in boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Works just as good as steaming and the vinegar breaks down the shell making them easy to peel.
