Actual details? I could only assume, but most companies would give "talent" the same contract, with some blanks to fill in specifics, ala Twitch.

I'll use this post about Nick and education to bring up two thing he said in his rant about Hawking. Hawking is a chomo bastard but that doesn't mean Nick is correct.
"Lots of people have way more than two doctorates" - Patently false and mind boggling. A PhD takes about 8-9 years to earn in the UK, starting as an undergrad, doing a masters and then the PhD itself, clearly a major investment of time and effort, regardless of what field you work in. As these concepts are anathema to The Balldo, he wants to diminish their importance and any rewards one can gain from their application.

The second point is when he is ranting about Hawking writing about Human interaction. There's so much to unpack there but I'll focus on his hypocrisy. Nick describes how Hawking is unfit to talk about human interaction because he is a "rich, elite, over-educated, academic", as he lounges in his hot tub. Needless to say, any points about the first two adjectives are self apparent if you have a passing familiarity with Nick.

"Over-educated" - Nick has at least two degrees and is a (Non-Practising) lawyer, a profession that has always been regarded as being very prestigious due to the academic rigour that is associated with gaining the right to study, let alone qualify, as a lawyer.

"Academic" - This is partially Nick trying to paint himself as the common man, railing against an out of touch elite, and partially a cope because Nick's own academic career is littered with failure and underachievement because he had no drive to suceed, becuase, at the end of the day, mummy and daddy could always just afford to bail him out and pay for his kids.

They seem to sign hand-picked talent for the most part. But they have a range of contracts which go from someone like Crowder at the very top to Mersh (Revenge of the Cis) at the very bottom. Rumble would have signed Nick based on his streaming numbers from 2022, his superchat revenue on youtube and a perception of him as having a unique format (talking about the law) where he was a top streamer.

But all Nick's metrics have collapsed and they would have to be very disappointed with him. In particular that he brings in little to no superchats now. His abandoning talking about law in favor of talking mostly about himself also would I think not be viewed positively.

I also heard something secondhand or thirdhand that Rumble also was in no hurry to renew Mersh's contract either. Mersh has gotten to the point where he is pretending to have strokes or actually having strokes during streams for attention. That may be a good direction for Nick to go this year.

I assume that Nick will pretend that he still has a seven figure contract with Rumble even after his deal is either downgraded or not renewed at all. It will be the same as all his copes around losing the superchat money and his declining viewership. See above for lore on Balldo's Virginia status, but I always assumed that her family was very middle-class Midwestern. Very average, and itnormal for most blokes to settle down and taise a family with this kind of woman. Not well-to-do at all with parents who would want to see her 'marry well' for the sake of reputation and fortune--she can marry for love as long as he can keep her and is not a tosser.

What has changed and is abnormal is Nick's desire and perspective. He started showing signs when he talked about how sex for rich people is different. A man invited a woman to dinner, then shows up at the door and asks if they are fucking before or after dinner. According to Nick this is totally normal, and now that he has wealth and some minor celebrity, he wants to partake.

This is why he wants to hang around strippers, porn stars, and go to clubs--he wants to live that rich playboy fantasy, but no matter how many 10's he talks to, his wife reminds him he cannot indulge freely. He is retroactively regretting that he did not have the ability to do this when he was younger.

It is a dangerous trap because in these kinds of hypotheticals you assume you have your current level of knowledge and would not be as much of an idiot as you probably were back then. It is something that could never be becuase the intervening years have changed tou more than you realise.

Kayla’s looks, mannerisms, facial expression & whole personality are dramatically different when comparing her appearance on Nick’s show in May 2019 to November 2019. And in the November 2019 show is when she goes on about the psych meds she’s taking. Seems very possible if not probable, that one or a combo of the meds caused a huge shift in her personality & not necessarily for the better. Long term, who knows what effects it has caused.

I think previous posters have had it right in speculating that Nick is the driver of the degeneracy & that Kayla is so desperate for attention & approval from Nick that she follows his lead.
