some metal ppl say it's not usual pit behaviour, maybe there was something going on before who knows.
but from my expirience, you get some time to get out of the danger zone, and you know where to stand n where don't.

also why poodling at a metal concert anyway??? like inside.

You're not supposed to punch people in the faces, but some fuckheads treat moshpits as convenient ground to beat someone up.
That said, the guy who was there to literally beat other guests should have his own face mashed.
Also, I hate furries with passion, but that was not funny at all.

As a rule, anyone working with the sex industry, be it sex toys, sex trade or porn, is scummy to begin with. If they weren't they'd be working a more legitimate field. That goes double to anyone starting a furry-centric business. If they're not already scummy starting out, they will become so, otherwise they'll never find the business connections to allow their business to thrive.

But it completely depends on the genre and the band

At a 'hardcore' show like this it's a lot more acceptable to kick and punch people (usually by accident though but intentionally works too), r/hardcore is a testament to that fact, it happens at tamer shows too though. I saw a girl get cranked in the side of the head at a rap show the other year

As a general rule of thumb you should be paying attention to what the people in your proximity are doing, if you don't pay attention and you get hit, then that's on you. just take a look at some of the knockouts in moshpits on Youtube


Now take this person in a fursuit head, standing right out in the open not really moving cause they can't see shit from the fursuit head blocking their sight, they were asking for it, honestly they got off lightly.

Freaking out at the band on Twitter cause they didn't stop the show for someone who got hit and stumbled slightly (even though the injury ended up being worse) is everything I hate about the people in the punk/hardcore scene

Varka was the former owner/web host of the forum Herpy (herpy.net redirected to the BD homepage for a while but it seems to be a dead domain now). It was a forum for "reptile lovers" that caught a bad reputation as being a bestiality forum despite that type of content being ban worthy if posted. It was a website with a gallery of reptile mating pictures and dragon/dinosaur/reptile themed furry art. The game of telephone that has been played with that website since its death is unfortunate, but I guess it needs to be sensational in order to try and knock Varka down a peg.

It was people jacking off to real reptiles and posting images of their reptiles in provocative positions or with the genitalia exposed. It was a bestiality site. Big part of why they got archive.org to exclude their website. Mods basically told horney dudes posting in the public forums to take it into pm under the guise of "we don't condone it". It was a facade.

That punch has been making the rounds lately, and I love how every furry out there assumes it was a targeted murder attempt and a prelude to furry genocide when it was clearly the asshole just bouncing around swinging at whoever was in front of him.

At least we have all learned a valuable lesson: fursuit heads are not protective gear.

Why would you wear a fursuit to a show like this at all? You’re just going to become a target at some point, even though this guy clearly wasn’t, no one isn’t gonna want to play “bash the furry.”
