Patrick secretly loves this. Upthread, it's been proven he's always had a persecution complex; he's always thought he's so damn important that people are organizing to take him down. No, child, it wasn't just a random burglary, it was an attempt to silence me!
Now he has the rascals coming after him, and it's easy to present them as the stalker children he's always imagined coming after him.
It doesn't hurt that he's a fat, alcoholic, pig-headed moron.

You're not wrong. Back in the early days of fucking with pig, when the subreddit was still around, the first thing that made him pay attention to us was his Twitter account getting suspended. iirc he was off there for a good 9-10 months, during which time he was losing his mind. He was constantly posting on Facebook about how frustrated he was for unfairly losing his account and legitimately threatened to fly to Twitter HQ at one point. He was also saying things like "It's very important that I'm allowed to talk to a real person at Twitter".
Twitter is his whole world. Everything about the public persona he's constructed for himself relies on that platform. I legitimately think he'd rather lose a limb than never be able to xeet again.

that's basically what I said - he's an intensifed version of a spouse that can't stop from fucking with their ex via custody stuff, or a university or government employee who spends all their time filing complaints of harassment or discrimination while making all their coworkers miserable. Fatrick is so over the top that he actually tripped wires in the system that ended up punishing him, but ask yourself whether he would have gone so far if he didn't have actual journalists covering him sympathetically, and if he didn't feel part of the great anti-farms crusade?
It should never have gotten this far, because his behavior should have precluded any support whatsoever.

Javier's got to be feeling pretty good about his decison to do the follow-up episodes right now. I'm hoping he does more like his previous series (which was about people pretending to be stalked) but I could also understand him maybe just checking back in every so often.
Pat's been REALLY mad the past few days - he didn't come off angry right after the hearing but it seems to have hit about a week later, to the point where he's somehow more unhinged than usual. I don't know if anything happened to cause it or not, it would be funny if the money he got had strings attached (like, get a real job).

In the second episode of the Pretend Podcast series, Thikki mentions that Patty is a licensed insurance agent and they both say he makes "tens of thousands of dollars per year" from residuals. Neither of them mention him currently selling policies.

I know people who have sold insurance and still make money from it after retirement. Nobody can support his ass. It is so fucking fat it would require an industrial development project to support it. I doubt this fat bastard could even wipe it.
But yeah, lots of sales jobs give you a percentage of whatever the client you landed is still paying. Even I had some of these (not going to name the type of business). But I was a really shitty salesman and would talk someone into buying something they didn't need and then feel guilty and talk them back out of it.

Unfortunately, being the kind of person who won’t take no for an answer is usually the most critical qualification to be in sales.
I know you rightly feel contempt for Fatrick, but I can well believe he doesn’t take no for an answer.
Perhaps when he was skinnier he was less off putting to people, or maybe he was just the kind of sales guy who once he got in the door refused to leave until they bought something.
