All of this is reminding me of the scene with Better Call Saul, where Saul explains how he used to be "Slippin Jimmy", but he's changed, and now he's a big shot lawyer man sticking it to the state. I think people on the Farms, and hell, maybe some people in Nick past are finally coming to the quote Walter told Saul: "You've always been like this."
Though, my comparison to Sauls ends there, and I feel he's an almost 1:1 recreation of Clay Puppington. Attempting to portray a happy Christian family, (fitting, seeing as he's off to Bibble camp but is still taking time to rant on Xitter) yet he's happy to shove the liquor bottle he just finished up his ass and wear a ball crusher calling itself a dildo .

Whatever's been going on with Nick behind the scenes, the alcohol is definitely a major contributor. I keep thinking back to his highly defensive account of his conversation with Null. Just the emphasis and tone on his "the FUCK are you talking about" came across as being extremely aggravated, and the blatant dishonesty on display coupled with the hyperactive cadence of his speech, which I really don't remember as being a characteristic of him when I stopped watching him over a year ago, were pretty alarming. The man's fallen apart and badly in need of an intervention, it's long past time for someone to take the bottle away from him and you have to wonder why his wife of all people hasn't done it yet.

The grandparents in Texas had the money. And they had enough to make a $18 million charitable donation in 2010 in one shot to a hospital in Texas. There is also a foundation that gives out a million a year still to this day. I think there were four children of the grandparents. Nick's mom being one of them. The estate would probably be some multiple of that hospital donation. The parents share might be a quarter of that. It would be at least several million dollars.
