That's exactly what I meant. I didn't say it was right, or that I personally feel that way, I said it's a common thing that needs to be acknowledged. Drex' disgusting views of women are just one example of what I think is a broader trend.
I think a bad argument getting dismissed is worse than no argument being made, because it gives the audience an illusion of the harmful position being right when in reality the person with the correct view was just poorly equipped.
