His Part about the SLA-16 was good, but i think he's scared of getting another wave of hate from Pig's fans, so he did everything he could to sound nice. (though Red did the same thing in his first video and still got shat on.)

Cones a very passive creator (AKA: A bitch), i don't think he's ever seen this type of hate thrown his way, so i imagine it did shake him up. I'm not gonna lambast the guy for backing down after the tidal wave of autism that is Laserpig's fanbase.
I don't think its really a Monetization issue, unless Laserpig has some in with youtube this entire drama has been purely a academic one, only one throwing names and insults around was Pig and cone to a very small degree.

Cone apologizing for his tone at the start helps disarm the only real criticism LP's fans had: He WaS vErY rUdE!
The rest of the video sticks to the facts and principles of studying and producing historical content. Same with RedEffect's video. These guys might have their own flaws, but they're still head and shoulders above LazerPig. Ironically, LP really seems to prefer to keep rolling in the mud instead.

Cone has never really had a beef with anyone. I've liked him for a long time, his videos are good. Pig or anyone going after him with weapons grade rage autism would have been completely unexpected for what was supposed to be a correction.
Again Pig and his ilk are people that would have been confined to message boards to shout retarded shit for eternity. Just now, Pig and the NAFO crew actually found a microphone, and are spewing utter garbage.

Lazerpig's accusation of RedEffect being a soviet-boo who is "hypercritical of every aspect of western armour" is such a superfluous claim, it's too overweight for its own legs to support it (much like Lazerpig self-admittedly is himself). Besides the fact it took Red less than ten-seconds and a single sentence to prove Pig wrong, there are no legs to support Pig's fat-ass accusation, it's totally false, a smear.
Pig is a self-proclaimed tank historian, an academic in an academic field. When Red, another tank historian and academic, posts an academic response, Pig is supposed to conduct himself in the academic manner of the field and post an academic counter-response. Pig does not, he goes with a smear because he thinks himself as being within the political field, where this smear is somehow for a greater good than tank history (like Kraut who makes up fake liberal-democratic heroes and non-liberal-democratic villains and passes it off as real history because he too believes his lie is for a greater good than history) and therefore should not conduct himself in an academic manner and not conform to the academic field like the others. Terrible hypocrisy.
The accusation of clickbait is also desperate. A video named "Lazerpig is WRONG about T-14 Armata" about how Pig is wrong about T-14 Armata means it's clickbait? And that somehow this is Red messing with Pig's fans? How stupid does he think his fans are to believe that Red has personally wronged them as well?

It is very unprofessional, which is what many take issue with. It's creating a shit show in a mostly peaceful community. Instead of admitting maybe Red has some points, or Chieftain is right that arguing about a prototype that we know oh so little about is pretty gay, he doubles down. Makes me sad

My point about him and being academic is that he insists he should play in the same field as everyone, yet also insists that he shouldn't have to play by the same rules as anyone because he is elevated far above everybody, he's a politician! This is best shown by him accusing all his opponents are Russian propagandists, this is because Pig is a self-admitted Ukranian propagandist, a politicial media influencer, and he therefore concludes that his enemies must be political enemies. Even though it's supposed to be an academic discussion, an ACADEMIC discussion, Pig is too academically uncultured out of sheer self-aggrandizement so he reverts into the political brute who relies on the sheer power of the mass, who must be kept fat and fed with noble lie after noble lie to back up the last noble lie lest they learn the deadly truth!
Moreover, on that point about his position on sources, more than that is that he DID NOT CITE ANY SOURCES AT ALL, that is NOT HISTORY. This by itself would flunk him out of high school history class, not just for breaking one of the most fundamental rules to history, but the insufferable attitude and gall in the way he must treat everybody in his class to think that he can.

My guess is that Prager U drapes themselves in a more "academic" style and these people damn near worship academia, so it puts their brains into a knot. Cognitive dissonance is one of those things that tends to generate very intense reactions, so they lash out whenever they hear about Prager U.

The guy saunters in claiming to be a credible military historian, gets pushback, and goes "I wasn't being serious anyway". Pig, my guy, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Nobody but foaming-at-the-mouth vatniks is claiming the T-14 doesn't suck, to one degree or another. They're getting on your ass because you're refusing to be factual. You're saying the T-14 sucks, but for the wrong fucking reasons.
Do you want a good example of someone making an out-and-out comedic video on how a tank sucks? Here's a different Scotsman doing it:
Punchy, to the point, makes fun of vatnik talking points, takes a couple swipes at Western MBTs, isn't claiming to be historically accurate, and yet it's making no esoteric claims. Most of the "haha tank bad" talking points are either: factual, obviously opinion ("prettiest tank in service"? Dude needs to have his eyes checked) or exaggerated for fun. And, most importantly, Koala flat-out states he's cherry-picking shit for comedy purposes. While his channel does feature historical content, he's not claiming to be wearing his historian hat on this one. LazerPig, on the other hand, refuses to take the damn hat off.

The Fact is LaserPig isn't totally wrong, it is a failure of a tank so far*, but he made mistakes in his first video and he's done everything possible to not say he was wrong, so of course people are going to lose respect for him.
If Pig had just made a follow up video where he discussed the corrections, admitted the mistakes in the video, but argued reasonably about other aspects, he wouldn't have half the tank autist sphere viewing him as a massive retard.
Pig's Biggest enemy isn't RedEffect, It isn't Cone, it isn't the chieftain, vatniks, putler, or any bogeyman, its Himself.
Pig is too high on this know-it-all energy, and the instant someone actually points out mistakes he goes into cry baby mode, throwing insults and sending his fans out as autistic attack dogs to call anyone criticizing him a vatnik baby killing tankie. The worst part is that he can't even back up his persona because he's a spineless bitch, hiding in his discord to ignore the big bad mean words people are calling him after making a ass of himself. I feel like I will only repeat myself if I go further, I can only restate how much of a bitch Pig is and how he is his own worst Enemy.
Since we know Pig at least knows of this site and read it once, though I highly doubt he's followed us through domains and tor, in the off chance he reads this i have some actual advice.
Listen to Nicholas Moran and drop the Snarky attitude and understand your fans actually consider you a authority on these topics, you aren't a Channel Awesome Movie Reviewer talking about Garfield 2 or anything, you are discussing history, act like it.
*The T-14 is actually in service, hence why its called the T-14 and not Object-148, so calling it a Prototype is incorrect.
