The irony of the very advice often thrown at the terminally online (which is most troons), to go outside and "touch grass" being this troon's undoing is almost poetic. 
There's a pretty big difference between touching grass and touching rocks at 9.807 m/s² though.

To put into perspective, this is Prusik Peak.
It seems that the route he took is West Ridge, traveling along the (relatively) shallow ridge rather than straight up the cliff.
Even so, it appears that this is still a route that climbers would do with ropes. There's not a lot of videos for reference, but I don't see anyone going without ropes.
So yeah, Kris has demonstrated very dangerous practice even among climbers, so it's not that surprising that he'd eventually bite it. Now I just wonder how long he's been doing this for and what mountain he finally slipped on.
